Morning Routine - Pigeons and Cats

Every morning I feed two stray cats and they keep predators out of yard so my pigeons stay safe. The pigeons love cat food and finish whatever the strays leave but they will follow me around until I give them a scoop of seed. All day different birds come and go, the strays leave them alone and only catch gophers, mice and rats (which they leave on my porch). Even though the birds don't let me touch them, they do let me get really close and that makes me feel like part of their family. I wish I could touch the stray cats but they freakout when I try so I just keep them fed and make them beds in the winter. No matter how bad of a day I am having, my birds and cats cheer me up.

Papa Bird disapproves of new son in law

My pigeon family is growing, Papa Bird has had multiple offspring and one of his daughters has brought home a male that he doesn't really like. Most days they get along but for some reason Papa Bird gets territorial when I'm around as seen in this video. Sorry for my annoying voice, I am an old lady who talks to animals like they are humans 🙃

Have you ever wondered how people gang up on you so fast on Reddit?

I can answer my own stupid question based on a recent post I made. Here is the answer: if you upset someone on Reddit or hurt their feelings, they Share your post with their friends so that their friends can then come in and down vote, attack, etc. It is not that a bunch of people just randomly stumble upon your post and decide to go at you, it is literally that someone is telling them “hey, this chick/dude is rude” and sending them a link to your post.

For example, my recent post has been shared 14 times, it wasn’t a useful or helpful post because I was asking questions, so there would be no reason for someone to share it unless they wanted to bring attention to the OP (me). As the “share” count went up, so did the attacks from random redditors. Some of the comments were really funny because it was literally people just coming in to call me an asshole and nothing else related to the topic lol

So yeah, if you are ever thinking “how are so many people attacking me at once?” check and see how much your post has been shared and then just be grateful that you are not rescuing foxes because it could be far far worse 🦊

Tips for growing in wicker basket

Hello, does anyone have a suggestion or idea for how I can repot my snake plant into this wicker basket? I currently have the plant in a small enough pot that I can slide it into the basket but I want to give the plant more space and have had trouble finding a larger container that I can transfer it to that will still be small enough to slide into the basket. I am curious if anyone has tried lining a wicker basket with a plastic bag or other material that will work? I do have really large grow bags that maybe I can cut and sew to a smaller bag to go inside, has anyone tried that and does it work?

▲ 13 r/loaches

I was stupid and added 2 more clown loaches to a 200 gallon tank that has an 8-9yr old clown loach. I thought they needed friends. Everything was good for about a week and then the two young loaches got sick. I moved them into a hospital tank, treated them with kanaplex but they died. Now my beautiful, old clown loach is sick and dying too. I am besides myself right now, I can only be mad at myself. I should have NEVER added more clown loaches, she was fine alone. I feel like if I move her to the hospital tank she will go into complete shock. I don't think this is ich it is the other one that looks similar but starts with an "E" I think. I feel so hopeless right now.
