How high do you think whey protein powder prices will go?

I've been buying the Nutricost 5lb tubs for a couple of years now and even as late as this January it was $55-60. It's now over $120 and seems to increase in price every month. Yes, I'm aware this is due to GLP-1 demand and manufacturers putting protein in everything from pop tarts to ramen in response. I don't expect whey prices to ever go down again, but do we think they will at least stabilize soon and not go up every few weeks? If not, how high do you see them going?

Anyone with the Ironmaster Cable Tower have the Dockable Curl Support and Preacher Curl Pad for it?

Thoughts? I have the Cable Tower with the Seat and Foot Plate Attachment. Curious about the above. Is there anything you can do with it besides Cable Preacher Curls?

Edit: To clarify, anything else you can do with the Dockable Support arm specifically. It feels like you should be able to somehow use the combo for other cable exercises but I can't think of any.

If you had to choose between these 3 stall mats which would you pick?

These are the 3 options local to me. I'm just going to do a roughly 6X8 or so section where I do deadlifts and rows.

- Home Depot 42"X72"X0.75" $49.88 https://www.homedepot.com/pep/TrafficMaster-Black-42-in-W-x-72-in-L-0-75-in-Thick-Rubber-Exercise-Mat-21-sq-ft-W-RBLKMAT42X72/326080434

- Tractor Supply 4'X6'X0.75" $47.99 (but it has these weird knobs on one side) https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/4-ft-x-6-ft-x-3-4-in-thick-rubber-stall-mat-2219003

- Tractor Supply 3'X4'X0.5" $37.99 https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/utility-rubber-mat-black-4-ft-x-3-ft-x--frac12-in-1011848

Anyone else notice significant differences between psyllium brands?

I started with NOW Foods brand and was happy with it until I read the Consumer Reports article so I switched to Yerba Prima brand. While the YP brand looked and tasted the same, I felt that I wasn't getting the incredible poop quality that I got from NOW. I switched back to NOW and honestly, I didn't notice any difference from YP with poop quality so thought maybe it was my imagination. I decided to give Organic India a try since it was the other lowest in lead brand tested and I have to say, it's nothing like the other two brands.

First thing you notice when you open the bottle is the color. NOW and Yerba Prima are a medium brown color, Organic India is a light tan color. Next thing you notice is the smell, Organic India smells like curry, but I have a feeling this is just due to it being processed in a facility that probably also processes spices, I could do without the smell but you get used to it and it seems to have dissipated a lot after opening the canister a few times. Another difference is that Organic India mixes much quicker, without creating those floating globs of undissolved powder, and it form the gel almost instantly whereas NOW and Yerba Prima the gel doesn't form until 30-60 seconds after you've finished mixing. Final thing is my poops are incredible, way better than even my original experience with NOW.

My next LDL test isn't until November and I'm super curious whether there will be any further improvement with the brand switch.

The Titan Landmine Stand works surprisingly well for doing chest supported rows.

Not with a landmine but with the barbell on the floor perpendicular to the stand. Make sure you stand on the side that DOESN'T have the Titan Fitness plaque. You can put a folded up towel on the plastic rollers if they bother your chest. Weight limit is listed at 440lbs, but you don't really rest your entire bodyweight on it so should be fine.

What exactly are these "quantum chip fabs" that the US government just announced they're investing billions of dollars into companies to produce?

Are we really at a point where a fab can be constructed to spit out wafers with Josephson junctions at scale like with CPUs?

He covers the drastic changes from the 1954 ruleset to the 1967 ruleset to the 1975 ruleset and how what we think of as BJJ today (guard focused ground grappling) traces to the latter?
