Food content always looked like one of those jobs reserved for people with huge Instagram accounts, but there are a few different ways to make money from it.

You can review local restaurants, create food and travel content for your own page, or make UGC that restaurants and food brands can post on their accounts and use in ads.

With UGC, you don’t necessarily need a big following and the restaurant is paying you to create the video, so the important part is knowing how to make food look good and produce something that feels native to TikTok or Reels.

A few things I’d focus on when starting:

- Pick a specific angle:
“Food creator” is extremely broad, so choose local restaurant reviews, cheap eats, gluten-free food, cafés, street food, recipes or food travel are much easier to build around.
A specific niche also makes it easier for restaurants and brands to understand why they should work with you.

- Make a few examples before pitching anyone:
Go to places you already like and film the experience as if it were a paid collaboration. Get shots of the location, the food arriving, close-ups, your reaction and anything that makes the place feel worth visiting.
For packaged food, you can make unboxings, taste tests, recipes or “what I eat in a day” style videos.
You only need a few good examples to create a basic portfolio.

- Start locally:
Small restaurants, cafés, bakeries and food trucks are usually much easier to approach than large brands.
Your first deals might be a free meal, a small flat fee or both. Once you have proof that you can create good content, you can start charging properly and offering bundles instead of single videos.

- Don’t overproduce everything:
Food needs to look appetizing, but the video should still feel like something a real customer would post. Natural reactions, close-up shots, steam, crunch and simple voiceovers usually work better than something that looks like a television commercial.

- Understand what you’re selling:
If you have an audience, restaurants may pay for access to your local followers, If you don’t have an audience yet, you can still get paid for UGC that the restaurant or brand posts themselves. Just make sure you discuss usage rights if they want to run your video as an ad.

Getting paid to try restaurants and make videos sounds almost too good to be real, but as a local side hustle it seems pretty accessible if you’re comfortable filming and approaching businesses.

I also plan on possibly making older versions of him like his 20s-and trust me hed be lookin even more stressed. Then his 50s…his 200s…Nyarlathotep’s bag of tricks does wonders 🤷

This is a Ben variant from a twisted universe! Nyarlathotep took an interest in him as he knows Ben’s destiny in other universes so, he decided to forge his own twisted variant of it and blessed (cursed?) Ben with it when he was cornered by eldritch abominations and was about to die. As usual, it came to him as a meteor, albeit more tentacle-y and landed too close for comfort.

Everything and everyone, especially ben got hurt and ultimately pushed him to death (ironically) but was revived by the watch fusing with him. It is now the only thing enabling him to function.

In this universe, it is not called the omnitrix but The Chorus. Nyarlathotep already put two creatures in advance personally (This universe’s variants of “Four” arms and Heatblast) but their true potential has not been unlocked yet.

It doesn’t function like the normal omnitrix. He can only acquire more creatures by slaying them and forcing their soul into the Chorus, only then can he transform into them, with the unfortunate side effect of still being able to hear them talking and whispering inside his head as their consciousness is retained inside the watch.

Ben knows this is not morally right but he needs to do this to survive this hell hole.

He has taken to calling each creature his “voices”. The multi-armed creature has been named the First Voice while the being of fire-the Second Voice.

Strangely, Nyarlathotep has informed Ben that The First Voice will be the strongest creature he’ll ever have in the Chorus and may rival even some of Nyarlathotep’s… “relatives”, only if he unlocks its full potential down the line.

Nyarlathotep has also become fond of calling Ben his personal Conductor.

Anyway! Sorry for the wall of text HAHAH just decided to have a lil fun drawing n writing these things since I fortunately have spare time today! Was fun trying to design these guys haha and the mini background story too! idk if ill design the rest of his currently unlocked abominations 🤷

Whenever somebody rallied the hopium troops for DD2 DLC, I always bitterly and sadly laughed while thinking “It’s good effort brothers but I do not have the strength to hope anymore..”

But alas, I was proven wrong-me and many others! and thus I say

Just finished book 3 of First Necromancer by Coldfang89 and it was pretty good!

Its only recently that I have come back to liking necromancy stuff again so I decided why not read some books about it?

So I started searchin what good book I could read and after seein some posts here on reddit, some recommended First Necromancer so I thought why not.

Then I discovered that it was also in audible and it was like the stars aligned since I was in the middle of finishing my thesis so it’d help to listen to something while I was workin on the thesis like a drone lmao so it pushed me more to try it.

I tried the first book and man, it was fucking great! It hit all the right spots for me especially with the mc’s progression pace. There were also some intense parts here and there that I also liked. It was good how the mc’s strength increase wasn’t too slow nor was it too fast and that he was trying to think as logical as he could with his choices all the way from the race selection to the skills selection.

The second book was 50/50 for me since the first “half” was still good for me >!Especially when he was building his army of sentient and very intelligent undead!< The strengthening and increasing of his army was what I was waiting for, the build up that I always love in this kind of story though the second half of the story was kinda…eh unfortunately, at least for me. >!Earlier on, he implied he was willing to be morally flexible especially if it meant protecting his family but he just gave up his army because he suddenly decided he wanted to be morally good. This was illogical to me. Why give the army up, especially when other enemies of higher calibers may attack and harm his family any time? But well, he just went and did that anyway…..!< To be honest, I almost dropped it there HAHA but I decided to still give it a chance and hoped that it would be better by book 3..

And fortunately, it did!!! At least for me. The problems I had with book 2 were kinda fixed by book 3 especially with much much more powerful units and it seemed like the mc also realized that what he did (back in book 2) wasn’t really good for the survival of his family and corrected that mistake somewhat, and I’m satisfied with his new army especially the >!Lich!< who had a fun personality, even teaching the mc bout certain stuff and was being hyper critical with his fellow undead if they commit mistakes thatd harm the army.

(Spoiler) >!Kinda sad he didn’t become a lich though. Maybe through some space magic they can still have a baby after? HAHA idk. His Dhampyr race could be explored more as well!< .

All in all, for me, it’s a pretty good series! Would recommend! This was the series that got me to subscribe to audible for the first time lmao good investment since ive seen other good books there too!

Anyway cant wait for part 4 heheh Give the series a try if you haven’t yet!
