Picked this beast up ~6 months ago off marketplace for $95!!! Easily one of my favorite purchases. What’s the best subwoofer score you’ve found!?

It’s in immaculate condition and the owner even included the manual he printed off around 10 years ago. He was just ready to let it go, had swapped to a smaller SVS. He knew he was letting it go for a steal. Even told me he had to make a ramp to get it in his car!

I really appreciate the old timers that give youngsters like me the opportunity to hear (or better yet, feel) something like this… I could never afford anything close if it wasn’t for people like him!

Starting the feed off with my most recent purchase, ADCOM GFP-565 and GFA-555 for $300 total! What’s your most recent find?

I was using Fosi v3 monoblocks before… big difference of course. Now I can actually feel the music in my chest through my mains. Using Snell type j/iii crossed at 80hz to a Paradigm Servo 15a

Glad to finally get to hear what a REAL amp sounds like. Makes me wish I still had my Cerwin Vega AT-12 so I could really turn it up! But I definitely prefer the Snell for how I usually listen

I have a Yamaha m-80 getting repaired (never heard it before) that may replace this…. But maybe not, who knows. If you’ve heard both let me know what you think!

Sources: I mostly use my iPhone, with a Cubilux USB-C > fiber optic converter, playing Apple Music. For vinyl I have a music hall usb-1 (from goodwill too lol. Can’t remember price, thinking ~$15)

I have a Yamaha m-80 amp being repaired currently but couldn’t pass up the ADCOM bundle. Was using a pair of Fosi v3 with the 48v 10a supply. Big difference from them to say the least… can’t wait to finally get the m-80 and try it for the first time

I’m not really happy with the mix of digital and analog I’m using. I think I will use the GFA-565 preamp in the future with some sort of 2 way crossover for subwoofer integration. I have found there are not many options for what I want, the Sublime K231 seems like it may be a good one. That way it would be pure analog, and if I can get a dedicated DAC if I want to use my phone

I don’t have a pic of everything together but I want to share my current setup, let me know what you think. I’m really happy with it for the value. It took some time to find everything but it was worth it. I have a Yamaha m-80 I hope to get repaired and use in the future, but this is the setup for now
