I want to make myself a simple leather cuff bracelet for daily wear. Something wide around two inches with a snap closure. I have looked for leather blanks and hardware on Amazon, AliExpress, and Alibaba.Fortunately prices are affordable but I am not sure about leather quality. For those who have made or bought leather cuffs, what thickness of leather holds its shape without being too stiff? I like the look of aged leather that develops a patina. I would appreciate advice from leather workers who have made cuffs before.
