I'm a diploma direct second year student switched to CS. I got really low SGPA in my 3rd sem (below 7). However I tried to recover in my 4th by getting 7+ and I'm sure now that I'll be able to get 8+ in my upcoming sems. However I want to know during placement do they look at you combined CGPAs of all years or yearwise CGPAs because my 2nd year combined one is still below 7. I might be able to recover if they do look at the combined one. Please do let me know 🙏🏻

Well I'm a diploma direct 2nd year student in MIT ADT pune college and I kind of underestimated engineering. I got below 7 sgpa in my 3rd semester and tried to improve them in the 4. But still the average for the year remained below 7. I'm still trying to improve and will definitely get 8+ in the upcoming years. But I'm just feeling anxious and depressed because there's a thought at the back of my head that I won't be allowed for placement interviews. During placement drives do they ask for the cumulative CGPAs of all semesters or year wise? Cuz if it's the first, I might be able to recover, if it's the later I'm cooked. Please do let me know how bad is my condition
