This girl done grewed up 🥹

My Aglaonema is one of my most thriving plants, and she I’ve not had to do too much.

Also, somehow, most of what I’ve read about aglaonemas doesn’t match my experience with mine at all.

For example, I read that aglaonema flowers should be cut off because they “drain the plant’s energy,” but that honestly wasn’t my experience at all. I left my aglaonema’s flower alone until it naturally wilted, and throughout that time, she kept pushing out new leaves that were even bigger while still blooming.

I read that they prefer loose, well-draining soil, but mine is planted in a mix of dried cow dung and loam with zero aeration materials. It also takes quite a while for water to drain through. The only thing I’m careful about is letting the soil dry out completely between waterings. And somehow, my aglaonema is one of the most thriving plants I own.

I do apply this seaweed liquid fertilizer I got from a neighbor who produces, but before yesterday, it’s been over two months since I applied the liquid fertilizer to my aglaonema. I just wish I can crack the code on what it is I am doing that is causing her to shoot bigger leaves.

One of the ways I have oatmeal

I’m not sure if I used the right flair; this is what I had for breakfast, but I’ll also be sharing the recipe here. I wish I could add multiple flairs.

These are two plates of the same meal, just that one had coconut shavings and sesame seeds, and the other didn’t.

I found this recipe on instagram but I tweaked it a lot 🤭.

The recipe on Instagram:

4 mid size overripe bananas 🍌(sweetener)

2 raw eggs 🥚

Oats (not so much; we want the batter runny, else it’ll overshadow the bananas and no sweetness for you)

A pinch of salt.

In a pan, add very little cooking butter 🧈(we don’t want to even notice the butter, else the food will be tiring) and fry the batter on extremely low heat. Scramble it and serve with greek yogurt

My tweaks 😌🤏🏽😉:

In another pot, I toasted black sesame and flaxseeds (it’s sweeter when they’re toasted)

In the batter, I added a pinch nutmeg and cinnamon. I also added the toasted seeds in the batter, and fried.

I served mine with Greek yogurt and sprinkle of pomegranate arils and and browned coconut shavings 😌

10 times better; DIVINE!!!

Yesterday, I was told by a fellow plant enthusiast who came to see my plants and gift me more plants, that I'm doing such a really good job with my plants, that they look healthy, clean, and lush 🥰 and I just kept

staring at them all evening. You know that thing that happens after you post on IG story and you just keep replaying it 😅. I had done my weekly cleaning of

my plants earlier yesterday
