My backyard Anoles love me

This is actually from a few years ago, but I have have lived in my house in Florida for over 20 years and have had many generations of Anoles in my back yard. I always look out for them and give them occasional treats so they trust me. As a result they go about their business with me around and are very entertaining, it's like having my own personal terrarium in my back yard. Unfortunately in the wild they do pass and it goes in phases. Predation and severe cold can sometimes greatly deplete the population but they always bounce back, I look forward to seeing them and they never disappoint. I try to keep the yard inviting for them so they keep coming back, love these little guys!

1945 Remington Rand 1911A1

Just acquired this 1911 from my brother that got it from a friend of his that moved to Thailand and couldn't take it with him. It was his father's that was a P-38 pilot in WW2. I looked up the serial number and it came back as a 1945 build date so seems legit I guess. Clip looks original, I haven't taken it apart to see if the parts are original tho, not sure how to even confirm that if I do take it apart.

I've always wanted a .45 to shoot but I'm kinda torn on wanting to preserve it, thinking about putting it in a display case cuz it's so cool. I have a lot of respect for WW2 veterans and all veterans in general so I don't really want to treat this special piece of history like just another pistol at the range, but if shooting it once in awhile is good for it I can do that.

Any advice is welcome, especially for a good display case and how to confirm original parts if I decide to disassemble it.

JL Manual vs Automatic?

Ok, I already have a 4cyl Turbo vs V6 thread going, now it's time for the transmission.

Obviously manuals are V6 only so that narrows down the engine choice lol, but given the issues with the manuals, with the recalls not really "fixing" them and people turning to an aftermarket clutch is it still worth the hassle? I have driven one and the clutch is VERY vague feeling but apparently an aftermarket clutch makes it way better from what I have read so far. I've been seeing quite a bit of manuals on the used market priced very good which is tempting me but....

The 8 speed auto is pretty damn good, and also has the 4cyl turbo option. Anyone regret going manual over the automatic? Would you buy a manual over an auto at the right price?

Four Cylinder Turbo vs V6, which is more reliable?

Looking to get a 2019 and later Wrangler. Have driven both motors and like them both, with the turbo having a bit more pep but it's not a deal breaker, what I'm more concerned about is reliability. So many conflicting opinions saying one is more reliable than the other so I thought I'd ask the Reddit Wrangler owners lol.....Would be even better to hear from a current Jeep tech to get their input.

I'm aware of things like the oil cooler on the V6 that can be fixed easily enough, but any other major issues like turbos failing? Electrical problems? These are the things I'm concerned about before buying.

Galaxy Player 3.6

Just dug this out of storage and want to put it to use, anyone else havbe one of these and know how to optimize it for the best possible performance? I want to use it for music only, no internet or apps or anything.

I noticed that the battery kept going dead even with no use and discovered it's been on "cell standby" which is really odd because it's not a phone and doesn't use cell service....Anyone know why this is and if there's a way to completely shut it off? I put it in airplane mode for now so that should help but I'd like to disconnect it from cell standby permanently if that's possible.
