I was gifted this camera and im trying to use it with my mac book , my mac book m4 2025 macbook bro and has 3.1 usb port. I am using the cord the camera came with. It is capping out at 480mb/s. I really dont think its my computer it got it less than a year ago and its fully up to date. Camera is up-to-date. Anyone got any solutions?
Right now i am streaming off my ps5 and it seems to be working fine. I just feel limited with what i can do. I wanna do more full cam stuff. Its been about 20 days since i started. Idk when I should go on in on a full pc setup. And i if i should go budget or like alllllll in. Let me know what you would do in this situation.

To add: i have everything i need besides the pc , dual monitors, mouse, keyboard, mic, headset, i just need the pc and capture care
More context: im a college athlete time can be limited for me especially in season. Investing into this would mean time and money obviously. I just kinda wanna hear other streamers experiences did upgrading really help at what point where you like I can really do this for real.
