Been scraping popcorn ceiling and this is the state of the ceiling after removal. Would you do a full skim coat on this or can I get away with just priming and painting after patching a few spots with screw holes and blade marks.
Been looking into getting a 24” skimming blade with an extension handle. Removing popcorn ceiling from most of the rooms in my house and am thinking it will save a lot of time when applying the skim coat after the popcorn is removed. Anyone have any experience with the top brands (Level 5, Columbia) vs Off brands (Vevor, Amazon, or even dewalt)? The Level 5 is like $200 with the blade and the attachments vs the Amazon one having a whole kit with multiple blade sizes for $100-150z
