Please Someone Convince Me Not Buy A 5090

As the title says lol.. I use to game on Pc years ago, but I had to switch over to console to keep up with newer titles with better settings like RT settings for example. Now I have the money for a nice high end pc and thinking of upgrading my Core I5 and 970. I just can't anymore it's still running but I just can't anymore with it. I have a buddy who is running a 4090 rig and he is telling me not to get a 5090. Now I've always wanted to have a no worries free build where I can just boot and run what ever I want.

Yall think I should just get a 5090 build and say screw it I have been waiting for the 5090 prices to drop and they just keep flying up . 3 weeks ago before the stock went out they were 3800.. now they are restocked at 4400 lol. I'm looking to sticking with Intel as I have always trusted my Intel + Nvidia builds.. even my friend who have been trying to convince me to go amd nvidia on an Intel build twice over is crazy work but still lol sticking with what I know honestly.

Anyways, my budget is 12,000USD and I feel the impulses kicking in..I figure I'd come here first before I make a good, or bad decision.

Astro A50x + Elgato 4k60S+Standalone & Pc Setup Help

Hello Logitech G Support, I'm having issues with this setup and can't for the life of me figure out why I can't get video on PC playsync option. I searched throughout reddit, and youtube, can't find a good tutorial on it. I ran across some post here and couldn't find the problem to my exact issue. I saw a post mention that the graphics card have to hook directly to the monitor, but when I want to use the standalone capture card there is no way to directly hook up the graphics card to the monitor without passing through the elgato then base station then monitor. I get sound and display on my the PS playsync option but my mic can't be used. I switch to Pc playsync I can use my mic but I get no display. Am I missing something extra needed to complete this setup for example.. The astro hdmi splitter or is it impossible to for this setup? I will continue searching maybe I missed a post that explained and resolved this issue here in this sub reddit. Any help, or explanation from anyone other than support is welcomed if it has been resolved.
