Is this possible

I am going to hayling island for a few days soon and my heaviest set up is my 10-20 gram rod and a 1000 size shimano fx I am not worried for the gear to get broken from the salt as the set up is used for making the pets run about. So is this set up strong enough for sea fishing or will I need to invest into another setup

I was fishing in waters known for brown and sea trout as well as salmon but the dorsal fin is weird so I can't tell what fish this is
