Apartment living with redtick?

Apartment living with redtick?

I am trying to move out with my girl molly (8.) im worried about her being alone too much or apartment life not fitting well for her. I live with my family and i work nights (3-10:30) and usually two doubles (10:30-10:30 or 11:30.) my parents walk her at night and she gets to sit on the porch. Shes not as crazy as she was when she was younger but shes still got energy. Has a few health issues pop up over the past year, ive spent ~5k since dec 2025. Shes doing better!

Ive never lived in an apartment and im looking for advice. Mollys comfort over my own.

Black hair dye help

Color removed (instead of bleaching) previously bleached and dyed hair (last pic) after using punky colors color remover and using overtone black velvet and arctic fox wraith, this is what i have. It is cute but i wanted black. Is this because I didn’t block my hair with a warm tone for the black? I had just put it over the very light blond. The last pic is what my hair was before

Is this a case of user error?

Homemade dog food questions

Molly is 8 year old redtick hound who has a liver issue. Liver issue started in December 2025. Vets took xrays of her liver lobes, spleen, and gallbladder but everything looked good to them. She still had liver spikes despite taking denamarin daily. I started making her food topper on top of her purina pro plan senior kibble (i use it in place of canned food). I portion it out and freeze the bags.

I did ask my vet before i switched molly’s food if nutritionally she would be okay and she said yes but didnt give me any pointers. I have been doing research online but i would like some advice on my recipes.

Base ingredients: 4 cups brown rice, 4~5 sweet potatoes, 1 can no salt added peas, 1 can no salt added green beans, 1 can no salt added corn, 1/2 big broccoli head, maybe 1/2 leaf of kale, carrots, 1 red/yellow pepper, 1 yellow squash, 1 zucchini

Sometimes i am out or forget to buy a vegetable or two lol.

I either boil chicken or brown ground turkey for the protein. I get around 10 pounds from what i make and i add 2 tablespoons of ultra virgin olive oil.

I add on a few eggs, strawberries, or blueberries a week in the morning and a good spoon of non fat greek yogurt.

How can i calculate if my recipes are balanced correctly and shes getting enough in?

Does anybody add spices, like turmeric or thyme?
