Afraid I bought my wedding dress too soon

Wedding planning has been stressful (as it always is) but particularly bc my fiance and I are planning our wedding in under a year, we both had to get new jobs at the beginning of the year due to our company downsizing, and now we’re on opposite schedules (temporarily) at our new positions.

When I made my appointment to get my dress, it was about 5 months out from the wedding and I knew it had to get done quickly. At my first appointment, I found my dress! I loved it so much, I felt beautiful and so bridal!

It wasn’t until a few weeks later when my sister sent me photos she had taken of my “full bridal look” in .5 zoom that I realized I may have made a mistake. I loved how it complimented my curves and now I feel like I was blinded by the beauty of the dress and it’s not as flattering on me as I thought when I tried it on.

I look much wider, shorter, and stockier than I realized in it. I’m debating on trying to sell it and find another one but our budget and time is already a bit tight. Any suggestions are appreciated 🥺
