So, not only is this a blatant example of below radar not working (you can't convince me that I'm not low enough since going lower would mean kissing the f-ing grass), but also an instance of the IGLA maintaining lock through I don't know how many meters of concrete and soil since the user had no LOS with me).

This is just getting better and better.
So BFV is on sale and I decided to give it a try, but no matter how much I try, there is simply no way of leveling up the planes. I understood that BFV's planes were much better than the 2 games that came after, but allow me to disagree.
I know that this is mainly a community problem since there is a lot of people taking advantage of this, but from a game design perspective: is there a reason for making it so that a full dogfight build deletes planes in less than a second while a level 0 needs to land +100 shots?
I like the amount of options that the game gives you, and the way it makes every vehicle (even across factions) have its own personality, but such an insane powercreep is a straight up nightmare when it comes to actually playing...
EDIT: Just so it's clear: I'm not against vehicles having to be leveled up in order to unlock new equipment and weapons, but just like a lvl1 infantryman is allowed to have a chance against a lvl500, a barebones plane should have some options when going against a maxed out one.
