devastated, upset, wtf

24 yo F with 1 child 2 years pp. had a very long labor and pushed for 5 hours with a vacuum assisted delivery. haven’t had any issues besides i’ve been spotting like my period for the past 2 weeks, but my periods have been irregular since giving birth. thought it was weird so I took a mirror down there to check things out and OH MY GOD. It was like my vagina was gone. there’s no opening, just a bulge of tissue that looks like a ball where the opening USED to be. went down the rabbit hole and am suspecting prolapse. i’m in my twenties and I feel like my body is ruined. have been on a weight loss journey about 2 months lifting weights and now i’m realizing that’s not even going to be a possibility anymore. not trying to be dramatic but i’ve been bawling my eyes out all day. scheduled an emergency visit with obgyn tomorrow but looking for some support in the meantime. again…. im 24…. wtf

wanting to hide in the bathroom rest of the shift

I’m in my last semester of nursing school with just 5 clinicals left until graduation and I just made the most embarrassing mistake ever. I really didn’t want to be here today but I got up and came. my nurse wasn’t too excited to have me and hasn’t been talking to me much so I feel like i’ve been a little zoned out today. she asked me to spike a fluid bag, but i’m short so I got up on my tip toes to do so, and when I turned around I tripped over all of the patients cords and almost fell flat on my face. my nurse just asked the patient if they’re okay but hasn’t said a word to me since. I think i’m going to die from embarrassment

update: thank you guys so much! reading all the replies has gotten me through the entire 12 hour shift and I don’t feel so alone! I know it may seem small to some but being a STUDENT in all caps is hard! i’m almost at the finish line and I guess it wouldn’t be nursing school if I didn’t want to melt in the floor a few more times before graduation lol I think my face has finally stopped being red from embarrassment and I will update the thread after passing nclex!
