PSA for C1 transfers to Krisflyer (Singapore Airlines/ SQ): log out and log back in!

This is the second time this has happened to me this year, so I am making a post as an FYI to myself and to anyone else who ends up in this position.

KrisFlyer won't show you your updated points count until you log out and log back in. Or, at least, for me they didn't for 45 min. I'm pretty sure the transfer is instant. So FYI!

EDIT: Hitting refresh may not be enough, to be clear. Logging out and logging back in is the safest bet.

[Dr Ratchathorn] How deferential are you to your surgeon's judgment on hairline design?

I'm scheduled to get an HT from Dr. R to fix my hairline. Fortunately, thanks to meds, my existing hair is quite dense.

Dr. R is of course an incredible surgeon. But I'm thinking about hairline design and I'm curious how other people went about it. To what extent do I just trust her judgment versus going in with my own opinion? I don't want to lower my hairline, so my question is really about how much temple recession to leave in or not. I know everyone has their own opinion on the matter, but should I just defer to Dr. R?

A website that shall not named sends me occasional notifications about a CX flight from LAX to BKK (via HK) available via Qantas points. I saw it for a millisecond but when I logged in, it was gone. Other times, it shows up as not available at all.

It's possible people are just snatching up the availability within minutes, but I wonder if it's alternatively that the flight is available for Aussies but not for me as an American?

Thought about posting this in the daily thread but figured it'd be helpful in the future if anyone had the same question.

edit: I checked again and saw it on Qantas's own award table, but when I clicked it to book, it says it's sending me through the US site and at that point it doesn't show as available
