Why is my additional investment not showing? (Need simple answers)

Hi! I invested another 6k to my Vanguard 2 weeks ago which increased it to 16k. Now I just checked and it’s just showing around $9k despite me already seeing my investment got deducted from my checkings acct. can somebody help me like I’m a 5th grader? I used to see my initial investment of $6k just grow over time. Where could the $6k possibly be?

Dr. Michael Park (dr.michaelpark) blocks anyone who give him constructive criticism (and why everyone has main character syndrome)

Anybody else follow Dr. Michael Park on Instagram? He posted a reel earlier today about a rude/ racist experience when “an airline employee” mockingly greeted him “Konnichiwa” as he was deplaning (he is Korean.) Now I used quotation marks because he said he wasn’t even sure if it was an airline employee or some random dude standing by the deplaning door. This can be true because oftentimes, you could see people who are about to board the next flight already lined up there as the inbound flight is deplaning.

Anyway, I do recognize how it’s an unfortunate situation and being typecasted in this day and age is NOT OKAY. But it’s just crazy how everrrrything is for content nowadays. I left a respectful comment how he could file a formal complaint if he really wants to get the matter resolved. The comment was deleted. I thought my wifi was being spotty so I retyped it and then he blocked me 💀 Now I know why alllll 2000+ comments are siding with him. It gets me thinking how he just wants to use the negative experience to catch people’s attention because truly, those comments are just all echo chamber.

I feel like a lot of people nowadays are just in it for clout instead of wanting to actually get $hit fixed.
