Everyone mentions Vista stalling Mihawk.. but ts might be worse.. like at least with Vista you could say Mihawk wasn’t trying and wasn’t interesting in fighting.. but here the “WORLD’S STRONGEST sword strike” from Mihawk being stopped by DIAMOND JOZU..

This guy here hitting his head against the red-line for YEAAARS. Like he could’ve sailed across the red-line and find the one piece and his crew at that point. Jus stayin in the same spot doin absolutely nothing, and doesn’t even gain haki from hitting his head or smthing..

And then after his pirate-crew don’t even come back, then Luffy comes along and be like “i’ll be back” and he INSTANTLY BELIEVES IT.. like even as a whale your owner didn’t come back for yeaars why YOU BELIEVING some random ahh pirate crew again makin the same damn mistake? Luffy crew only comin back cuz of plot bru

migh be the biggest bum to ever exist in all of fictional works across history.. he only excused cuz he a whale… imagine if ts bro was a grown ass man or even kid.

This episode alone is objectively one of the best written stretches of fiction ever, and syrup village arc in one piece is one of the best fictional arcs ever in terms of purely writing.

(3, 4 and 5 are interchangeable imo, they around the same tier.. would put it in this order on some days then other days the opposite)

Imo I think the scene above that I put carries the entire arc and without it, it would be mid.
