Lower SR Rating in Platinum?
Lower SR Rating PAYOUT in Platinum?*
I was just wondering, why is it that when i finish races cleanly (All Valid Quali and Race Laps, No Incident Whatsoever) the rank progression goes very slowly in Platinum SR (currently P1 SR rating).
It used to be when i was in Bronze SR it just took 3-4 clean no incident no invalid races to rank up to the next step (doing a Fixed GT3 race 1x multiplier), maybe for Silver it was 4-5 races to progress but that was doing Fixed Prototype races with a 1.3 multiplier. When i hit gold it was probably 5+ clean races running a One Stint Sprint with a 1.5 multiplier to progress.
Now in Platinum 1 im still running One Stint Sprints (most time efficient and i can take 30 minute breaks in between and MUCH safer) and even if i have a 3 Arrow increase of SR it barely moves 10%, needing much more races to reach Platinum 3.
I get that this is a good system, maybe in Gold you had to reach 500 SR "points" to rank up but in platinum its 1000 then 2000 then 3000, and the SR payout of each race is consistent. Also if you had an incident you wont be dropping a lot of SR, if you could gain 150 SR with a 3 Positive Arrow then you would also lose 150 SR with a 3 Negative Arrow regardless. Makes you have a cushion sort of at the top.
Just wished there were more transparency.
