I’ve felt weird sensations during my shifting attempts, and I’m not sure if they’re still normal because I’m still here

Hello! I’ve been trying to shift using subliminals (without any specific methods or even visualizations) since May. So far, these are two of my most extreme instances of when I actually felt something happening:

(I’m putting the dates based on an Asian time zone, not saying where specifically for privacy reasons.)

JULY 8, 2026
At around 4:30 p.m., I was listening to a shifting subliminal that has specific benefits of taking me to the void. I took 3 deep breaths before falling asleep on my right side. I woke up after an hour, and proceeded to try napping—again on my right side—with the audio still playing. Then, it happened. My arms started to feel weird and tingly. So, I opened my eyes and saw my room, but they kept getting shut back to sleep—causing me to then feel a sudden surge of sleepiness and weird sensations in my head, as well as seeing weird lights while my eyes are closed. I attempted to open my eyes several times, which just reverted me back to the weird lights and stuff. Also, I couldn’t move! Mind you, I was aware of all of this and everything around me. Eventually, I was able to snap out of it by forcing myself to lay on my back. I was still here, though I wasn’t scared because I thought I was close to my desired reality.

AUGUST 9, 2026:
Just earlier, at around 3:30 p.m., I was listening to a shifting subliminal—not similar to the one I used before, and it was my first time listening to that specific sub. Then*,* I fell asleep on my right side. I don’t think I ever woke up like last time, so this all probably happened while I was asleep. Anyway, it did happen again—similar sensations, only this time, I kept seeing animated characters that seem to be glowing like holograms? Also, I couldn’t see my room because my face was pressed onto a pillow lmao. ANDDD, I decided to repeat affirmations in my mind. However, I noticed I was still there and not actually being transported to my desired reality (and I guess I was kind of scared because I have been in that state for so long), so I kept forcing myself to wake up. I woke up eventually, but I’m still here.

Now, I’m a bit worried because I don’t know if it’s normal to feel those, as I have never encountered anyone who also went through the same, specific thing. Also, I’m still in this reality despite being able to feel those sensations. However, I have only felt them twice, and in both occasions, I’ve been intending to shift out of this reality.

So my questions are:
- Do you think this is normal at all?
- If so, what can I possibly do to shift without so many efforts, methods, and visualizations (I can’t really visualize)?
- Should I try to revise my past instead? Would that be any easier?

Thank you!

[UPD] when should i take the classes (chem 16, chem 16.1, and math 21) required for shifting?

hii ! incoming upd freshie here ! i passed on my third choice of program. however, i’m still planning to shift to my prio program (bs chemical engineering) next year. i already have a plan, but my problem is the execution. 🥲

you see, the program i qualified for is in a different college and doesn’t include chem 16, chem 16.1, and math 21 in its curriculum. so, i planned to take them (perhaps) during the second semester of my freshman year, but my parents are against it because i might get overloaded if that happens, potentially lowering my grades due to challenges in catching up. they’re okay with me shifting anytime, because one thing about my parents is they don’t mind me being delayed for a few years (i’m an only child, and they are extremely supportive when it comes to my interests and other things going on in my life). but i really don’t want to burden them, which is probably why i’m also trying to shift as soon as i can. 🥹

now, i’m thinking of taking them during the midyear season, but i’m worried about the fast pace and difficulty (as compared to the regular classes). :((

my questions are:

  1. do you think i should just take them on my second semester, the midyear season, or my second year (which means i might actually get delayed)?

  2. if i do take midyear classes for those subjects, would you advise taking them simultaneously?

  3. do midyear classes occur before the shifting period?

thank you! 🌻
