I just a reusable HeyDay camera and expired BW film
I am forced head first into the water by two people. I thrash and I hold my breath for as long as I can, eventually I give out, my breath leaves my body. Thrashing, while probably had the best intentions contributed my loss of energy.
Water enters my nostrils and burns down my throat. My lungs full with water, a familiar instinct kicks in, the fear that today is my last day on Earth.
I vainly thrash a few more times then go limp, eyes wide open my body’s kicked into the river. Water in my body brings me into the deep. That’s when He takes the wheel.
He stands on the riverbed, and with my legs He walks me up river and out of the water. He finds my assailants out of breath, panicking, they’ve never killed a person before. He grabs them by their necks and brings them to water. He forces them under, turns them face up. He wants them to see my face as He grins with my water logged eyes. His victims struggle. They kick my body and claw at my arms. He doesn’t care. He does not feel anything. Soon they die, He discards them to the water. He washes the blood off of my arms in the river, He then inhales air, water flows out of my mouth, I cough.
It hurts, it always hurts.
