Chronic losers and chronic winners on GH

Feel free to add your own!!!

ETA: This is strictly counting the past few years!!! I am not factoring in what Willow went through with Shiloh, how Lulu was written with different actresses, etc.

Chronic losers:

Ava….

— One child was murdered. The other one she is not allowed to have an onscreen relationship with.

— Her “great love” cheated on her with a teenager who he got pregnant. The pregnancy actually produced a living child.

— Ever since that breakup, all subsequent love interests have been psychos, liars, killed off or more into someone else.

Tracy…..

— Had a great love story with Luke but not allowed to talk about it without conceding that she was not the love of his life.

— Her on screen son is generally a condescending dick to her. He will look for any excuse to side with someone else. Is close with Brooklyn, Stella and Laura but all three stay on her neck.

— Had major chem with Gregory; the one dying character who \*didnt\* get a miracle cure or misdiagnosis. Wasn’t even that part of his death montage.

— Has been chem tested with Martin for years. He still hates her.

Lulu…..

— Has two kids who clearly prefer others. Rocco is ready to ask Britt to nurse him and Charlotte straight up said her real home is with papa.

— Strained her closest friendship to
date and sleep with a guy who isn’t real. They already broke up
and he’s clearly gravitating toward Joss…..who immediately figured out what she couldn’t.

— Dante will probably end up
with Elizabeth.

Chronic winners:

Willow….

— The only non birth mom who doesn’t constantly have it thrown in her face. And when someone does, they are clearly in the wrong.

— Survived stage four cancer with a healthy baby, one operation and no chemotherapy.

— Cheated on her golden boy husband with his uncle and never became the town pariah. His super powerful family never went off on her.

— Got away with attempted murder and is now
a “congresswoman.” The town is lining up to stroke her ass and apparently all her colleagues (US and abroad) can’t get enough of her. Could shut down the WSB.

Portia….

— Having an easy naturally conceived pregnancy at 50. Treated as 38.

— Immediately jumped from her divorce to a happy relationship with a hot adoring doctor.

— Her daughter is more obsessed with her than most kindergartners.

— Got to keep the house on the water. No professional consequences for constantly winding up blackmailed.

Think there will be a decent soap sale this weekend??

I feel like I can do way better than 5 for 28 but we are running low and my parents are watching our kids at our house all week next week. I don’t need emails about all the products we are running out of 🙃. Anyone in the know think soaps will be $2.95 this weekend or should I bite the bullet?? I feel like “lowest price of the season” hasn’t happened yet????

Do lower case letters matter when they make writing less legible (rising kindergartener)??

Hey all!! My twins will both be headed to kindergarten next fall. One is still very much in the tracing stage but the other is doing really really well with writing her capital letters independently. The issue, however, is her pre-k teacher is encouraging her to use lower case letters as well, which make her writing less readable. So I guess I am wondering what matters more — having legible writing using all caps?? Or attempting the lower case letters too??

I know with my son (a rising second grader) they didn’t really start to care that much about lower case usage until early first grade. TIA!!

Any other moms love dresses but feel like they’re constantly accused of being overdressed??

So I will probably be accused of overthinking this but it’s maxi dress season now, which I loooooove yet I find myself choosing *not* to wear them on preschool drop off days because I feel like we still have this mindset that dresses equal “trying to impress” and mom culture is zero fucks given. Like I’ll literally throw on what is essentially a giant tank top and still get asked “if I have lunch plans later that day?” or told “you’re so much more put together than us!!” or “wow, mommy looks so nice and springy!!” Yes, I know these are technically compliments but I still feel shades of “bless your little overdressed heart” so I wind up in the usual tank top and cropped leggings, which ironically takes more effort than a maxi dress!!

Probably a me thing, but just wanted to vent in case others feel the same!!!

GH character generations

There’s been a lot of age talk lately so I did some googles and if you base it solely on the *actor ages* this is basically where everyone lands:

Boomers: Tracy through Sonny
Includes Alexis, Laura, Ned, Lucy, Liesl, Anna, Sidwell, Mac and Felicia

Gen X: Ric through Lulu
Includes Valentine, Ava, Jason, Elizabeth, Portia, Curtis, Nina, Drew, Brennan, Carly, Dante and Olivia (yes, this is weird)

Millennials: Jordan through Willow
Includes Cody, Britt, Justine, Maxie, Cassius, Brooklyn, Chase, Ethan, Isaiah, Michael, Jacinda, Lucas and Kristina

Gen Z: Molly through Georgie
Includes Joss, Trina, Kai, Gio, Emma, Charlotte, Rocco and Danny

Let’s Rank Characters — Top 5/Bottom 5

No particular order. Feel free to add one honorable mention per category. My picks:

Top 5:

— Tracy

— Emma

— Valentine

— Lucas

— Elizabeth

Honorable mention: Ava (I love her, but the show has no clue what to do with her. I would love to see a happily ever exit storyline with her and Nikolas).

Bottom 5:

— Willow

— Nina

— Curtis

— Brooklyn

— Chase

Honorable mention: Britt depending on how hard she goes on the “Rocco is my son” routine.
