Tv warranty help, edited post

Hey guys, I’m redoing the post since I realised the first photo wasn’t very clear and it probably lacked some finer details that are imprtant.

I purchased a new tv at the start of March, it’s a Hisense q6qau QLED.

A couple of weeks after purchasing the screen started showing lines vertically and horizontally that originated from the left hand side of the frame. I was worried that they looked like they might be caused by impact to the screen but I know for a fact the screen hasn’t been physically damaged in any way. I contacted Hisense to start a warranty claim and after sending photos through they said it appeared to be caused by physical damage and would not cover it under warranty.

initially the screen did not appear physically damaged. the first photo that has the red circle is from when the lines started to appear on the screen. no sign of physical damage at all. Now the screen has started to lift a bit and has scorch marks, it almost appears to be a bit melted. when I turn it on there is a small orange dot inside and it is very hot to touch. It hasn’t been scorched/melted from an external source. Could it be possible that the damage was from an electrical fault within the tv originally? Do I have a case to have a warranty claim supported?

I’ve attached photos for reference and would really appreciate any help at all

Help on TV warranty case

Hey guys,

I purchased a new tv at the start of March, it’s a Hisense q6qau QLED.
