Hi yall - I’ve got this wall with a looot of small things on it but I feel like all of the papers make it look even more vast and empty? What should I do? Thank you!

I’m planning to upgrade to a full bed soon and get new sheets, duvet, etc. in the process. I’m trying to figure out how to find new bedding that will work with my carpet. I feel like the green pinstripe works already, but I’m bored of it. I’m looking to do some pattern mixing, but will that be too busy with the rug? And I don’t want to get rid of the rug because it’s beautiful! Looking for any and all suggestions! I attached pictures of my current set up and some set ups that I’m a fan of but might not work with my current situation
