Do you charge your gpd win 5 battery with the cable?

Im talking about the extension cable used for powering the device with the battery off the back..

Was just wondering if you guys charge it with the cable? I was charging this way and it just stopped. Im being told by their support that this is not possible and the only way to charge is with the battery attached to the back or through the dock.

Gpd win 5 battery not charging.

I have the win 5 hooked up to included battery with the included cable. Usually it charges to full wifh a green light indicating its good. But today it was plugged in half the day and never went green and will not power the unit.

I have the battery hooked up directly to the console and am trying to charge that way (maybe a defective cable although I leave it on the device and battery).

Just looking for ideas. Thanks!

Update: charging through the console hooked up directly to the back so maybe bad cable. Don't know how it can bad already when I barely disconnected it.

What all do you find to be the sweet spot for in game settings on the gpd win 5 via DC and AC?

I've been wondering if the gpd win 5 is actually like a portable ps5. It seems like in order to get the best graphics vs performance you usually gotta have fsr/intel xess ultra performance/native AA with everything high to ultra with frame gen on so you can at least do 40+ fps (my personal tolerable fps). 1900x1080 res. But it seems like it doesn't exactly look as good as the higher setting ps5. Am I wrong? Do you guys find changing the vram in the bios helpful? Don't get me wrong here I love my device and am a big fan. Thanks!

Weird reaction to AC portion of our hvac system

I get a weird metalic taste on the tongue and itchy red eyes whenever AC comes on (almost right away).

Back story (sorry its long): Ever since I moved into this house its been like this. I had to move back in with my parents house (I'm a caregiver she has chronic fatigue and now an afib). Anyway the minute I moved in I started having a reaction to the ac only not the heat. I thought maybe it was mold so I bought 2 different dehumidifier and run then 24/7 in our basement.

House is 1920. It has ducts that go from basement to top floor boards.

This just kills me man to the point I can't tolerate being in the house. Unfortunately my mom needs me to take care if her so I gotta stick around.

Back in the fall I had a company do a duct cleaning. They came in with a large unit they rolled sound and cleaned out the ducts one by one. This led to them discovering that the last company to come clean our ducts pried a panel off to get to the coils I guess and clean them. He said that it was okay but because of this it loses pressure and won't run as effective. I kmow this is just talk but my mom bought it and allowed him to sell us on a new unit. It was 15 years old give or take. Even with this new system I still have this reaction.

When the first company cleaned our ducts I wasn't here to see what they did but it worked to alleviate my symptoms till the next year Unfortunately they also were the ones who did the damage to the hvac front.

I kind of don't get why heating = no reaction air conditioning = reaction since its the same duct work. Is the ac blowing more air and causing the system to draw more crud from our basement crawl space? Or is it because the ac blower is more powerful and blowing the contaminants im sensitive to out and into our living area?

I'm including some images of the whole thing to hopefully help.

The order of the photos is so you can see the entrance to the basement, the arrangement and where the unit is located in relation to the basement and crawl space and also see the upstairs vents and returns.

I'm probably leaving some stuff out.

I'm not sure what I can do but I can't really tell my mom because she gets super upset quickly and I don't wanna send her over the edge because of her condition but I can't take this for much longer. I suffer all spring/summer/fall and then finally winter comes and I get relief.
