recommendations for services similar to cheekboss???

hi there!

a while back, I did one of those Cheek Boss first-month-free things where you just paid for shipping. I got three of my favorite pairs of underwear that I’ve ever had and only had to pay shipping. (Honestly, it kind of worked for them too because I was just doing it to get the free underwear, but I have since ordered from them again LOL)

they also had a sister company called popfit that was basically the same but just with like leggings or activewear, so I did that too. I didn’t think it was as good as cheekboss, but I definitely got a lot of use out of those leggings!

i’m providing all of this for context basically lol I am looking for any other services that are similar? I guess companies that maybe send you a trial product before you commit to their service, new customer deals, or something!?

Thank you very much!!

rachel zegler gifs!!

hi guys!

I got into a little hobby of making GIFs and I made a lot of Rachel Zegler ones!!!

I was trying to make it so they could be used on Instagram but I’m not really sure how to do that I think lol so I just thought I’d link to the collection here so if anyone wants to use them, they can!!!

https://giphy.com/channel/katelynjoymoore/rachel-zegler

I think if you want to use them, you can just copy them and paste them into a comment section or whatever!!!

I just was kind of proud of them and excited about them so I wanted to share them here in case no one else ever sees them😂😂

hi everyone!! I’m a big big traveler and I live in the US. I recently graduated from college and I’m not super wealthy by any means, but I try to work really hard so I can save money to take myself to fulfill different dreams. Usually this end up just being traveling because I’m not really very materialistic and just want to see the world!!

My most recent trip was to China. I got back a few days ago. It was my first time ever doing a solo travel international trip, and I had the most amazing time. I really loved it so much and it was truly a dream come true.

One of the biggest surprises, though, was how far the US dollar goes in China. Obviously exchange rates are always gonna be varying, but like for example, to get a beer at a restaurant, it would be like $2 USD. It was so helpful to be able to afford so many things when I was in the financial situation that I’m in. Again, I’m not really rolling in the money or anything, so the fact that I could get into most museums in China for free or for like less than 10 USD made all the difference.

This is definitely changing my outlook for traveling in the future. I think it would be smart for me to focus on prioritizing countries where the American dollar goes very far while I’m younger so that way I can still experience bucket list things not being destroying my life while I’m doing it😂😂

I hope this makes sense with what I’m asking. I guess I’m just asking for places where people have traveled and everything isn’t too expensive. The exchange rate in China is about 0.15 RMB to 1 USD, but it’s not like the prices were the equivalent to US prices. The US is very expensive and some things were just not that expensive there. another example is like an hour long taxi ride would be like $10 USD, whereas in the US that would be like nearly $100.

OK, I hope I explained what I’m asking well enough. Thank you so much!!

hi there!! F24!

It’s my last night in Shanghai and I’m turning in for the night but I’m trying to take a relaxing evening. I was thinking it might be nice to get a massage, but I’m not really in the mood to leave my hotel.

I know there’s a lot of places that do late night spa stuff or 24 hour spa stuff. I was wondering if anyone knows of any people who will do late night massages at the hotel on the last-minute notice?

I was trying to come up with some way to treat myself last night and my friend and I hung out and went on a walk but now I am in my room and wanting to decompress before my flight tomorrow! if anyone has any ideas 24 hour masseuses that do house calls, please let me know!!! thank you!!!!

hi all! thank you for all of your help over the past few months as I plan for this trip, and now as I’ve been in China!

it is my last night in China, and I am in Shanghai. If you were in Shanghai right now, it is a very rainy day and it’s pretty chilly so anything outdoors has been kind of out of the question.

I am looking for any ideas that anyone might have for a fun or nice way to spend the last evening my friend and i have together in shanghai???

preferably nothing too expensive, as we are both recent college grads and he is from shanghai so he doesn’t want to spend too much, and i need to save some money! however, feel free to let me know about anything you think is worth it!!!

thank you so much!!!

hi there!

I’m currently staying in eastern Beijing, but I am willing to travel a bit for the restaurant if it is worth it. I am getting up early tomorrow to go to the Great Wall so I’m turning in early tonight, but thought maybe I would take myself out to dinner.

I love cute little cozy places that may have nice warm, lighting or something, but also the weather hears amazing today so maybe if there’s a patio somewhere with a nice view, that would be wonderful!

i’m kind of in the mood for any cuisine, so if you have a recommendation but it’s not Chinese food, you can still put it in the comments! I just want to catch up on my travel journal and have a chill evening!

thank you so much!

UPDATE AT BOTTOM

hi there. I am at the park right now and have been planning this for so long. I’ve had the app downloaded for forever, my tickets bought, etc. However, my app is not logging into the account or letting me get a verification code, so i currently cannot do ANYTHING with ordering/buying things. I cannot get food, order a premier access, etc.

I just went all the way to guest service to ask for help because I figured they could help me make an account and set it up or something, but unfortunately I couldn’t really speak to anyone because it doesn’t seem like they have anyone to speak English with, and I don’t speak Chinese, so I tried to use a translator, and then they just turned me away.

I’m in tears and so upset and frustrated because I have just been waiting for this day for so long and so far, it is not going well at all. I don’t know what to do. It’s not letting me log in to the app. Does anyone know a solution or has had this happen?

EDIT: this is going to sound wild because i updated the app and still had this issue, but i saw someone on reddit say something about deleting the app and redownloading it, and out of desperation, i tried it…. its been working fine ever since. it let me verify the account, buy things, etc. wild, but that is what worked for me. i hope it helps someone else!!! :) ❤️ i’m going to update the post with this information
