11am main entrance long queue ?

We’re going in tomorrow (21st May). My wife isn’t interested in most of the rides, so we’ll only do a few and then wait for the fireworks.

I’m trying to avoid a long queue at the main entrance—what time should we go so the entry crowd is shorter?

Disney Dream Vacation Package?

I just booked my October Unlimited VP at Tokyo Disney, so now I’m good to book Shanghai. Do I want the “Disney Dream Vacation” option for a 3-night stay? No matter what dates I select in October, it tells me it’s not available for the dates I selected. Is that because it’s already sold out? If that’s the best package to get, and it’s indeed sold out, I need some advice on what exactly I need to purchase instead. Want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel.

Need tips at the park!

Hey guys, I posted recently and got some of my questions answered regarding the purchase of premier access, creation of an account etc. Now I’ve got some new questions and would greatly appreciate your help on these:-

  1. I will only be using roaming, and I’ll set up my Wechat and Alipay before I arrive. Will I be okay or are there things I need to be mindful about?

  2. Do they have wifi at the park?

  3. What kind of food do you recommend me to try?

  4. Is recording allowed on the rides? I saw various experiences on Tron. Would very much like to record myself up there. Do you think it’s possible for me to do one in the morning (as I will arrive by 9am) and later in the evening through premier pass?

  5. At around what time should I start camping for the fireworks?

All help is much appreciated, THANKS!!

Afternoon Access

Going to the Park in a couple of weeks but only have time to go for a day. What is the queue like to enter the park in the afternoon?

Or is 6am the only option if you want to see anything? We plan on getting some premier access tickets for some of the more popular rides.

How exactly does the Klook QR code work?

So i bought 2 tickets for June on Klook and they sent me a QR code.

In the instructions they sent me it says i should only connect my ticket to the shanghai Disneyland app AFTER i entered the park.

So did i understand it correctly that we go to the counter, show the QR code containing both of our tickets, then we show our IDs and after that the counter will print us an actual physical ticket which we can then connect to the app?

Confused about the premier pass!

Hi everyone, I’ll be going to Disneyland on May 31 with a group. So I plan to buy a premier access pass because I really wanna make sure I get to do Tron. Right now I have a few questions:-

  1. Is the app down? I’ve been trying to look at their offers for the premier access pass but it takes ages and is so laggy. Additionally, I cannot even sign up for an account.
  2. I made it to the premier access pass section and was browsing through, but I don’t see any ala carte offers? Is that unavailable or is the app down lol?
  3. I saw this on the T&C section, does it mean I shouldn’t be buying in advance and should only buy when I’m in the park?

I’d like to add that the tickets are bought by a travel agent, so I have to be buying the premier access pass on my own. Is there anything I should be mindful of?

Thank you!

Approached by surrogate shoppers in Disney Store?

I was at the world of disney store in Shanghai as an Asian american tourist (carrying my luggage around the store before we went off to the airport). While browsing got approached at least 3-4x by other shoppers in the store asking us something in Mandarin I couldnt wuite inderstand, but it sounded like they were asking if we wanted them to buy stuff for us.

I asked a store employee and he said they were “dai gou” (代购). Anyone know what the point of these surrogate shoppers are for, if Im already in the store myself its not like I need them to buy stuff for me. Or are they scammers to watch out for in the future?

Adventure Set Bundle? Or Individual passes?

Hey, I'll keep it simple and sweet. I'm going on Saturday (5/16). First time at the park, and in China. I really only care about riding Zootopia, Tron, and Pirates. I can get 2/3 of these rides via Premier Passes in the adventure set bundle, and I thought about it since the other 4 rides in the set seem great. But... I plan to skip a few attractions throughout the day no matter what, such as all of Toy Story Land, Dumbo, etc.

It'd be cheaper to buy a Premier Pass for Zootopia and Tron (at night) individually and save about 10,000 Japanese yen (I'm coming from JPN).

I've been watching the wait times on the app, and they don't seem to get tooooo crazy except during peak hours, but almost exclusively for character meetings, which I don't intend to do. However, coming on a Saturday still kind of makes me nervous, and I only plan to do the park for 1 day.

Overall, those who have gone before on weekends, what do you think?

Also- recommended souvenirs?
