Especially for Brihadranyak upanishad and chhandogya upanishad because their hindi commentary is not available anywhere.
How is the translation and commentary of swami Krishnanda of Divine life society ? Is it easy to read and understand ?

Hinduism says kāma is one of the 4 puruşārthas, but the Gita warns against kāma/desire. Isn't that contradictory? How do Hindu traditions explain this?
Ashtavakra says :
The confused and ignorant people are found to be continually involved in practices of mental concentration or in efforts to control the mind. The wise ones, on the other hand, like persons in deep sleep, do not see any necessity of doing anything.
Gita says : The mind is restless, turbulent, strong, and obstinate… but by practice (abhyāsa) and detachment (vairāgya), it can be controlled.
So, which one among these holds true ?
How does advait vedanta explains matter ? Does it says - Matter is not self existing and its existence depends upon the consciousness itself. OR Matter is also a part of Consciousness.

The first verse of Saundarya Lahari composed by Adi Shankaracharya says :
United with Śakti, Śiva is endowed with the power to create the universe. Otherwise, He is incapable even of movement. Therefore, who except those endowed with great merits acquired in the past can be fortunate enough to salute or praise Thee, Mother Divine, who art the adored of even Hari, Hara and Viriñci?
So, does it mean shiva and shakti are different from each other ? Please answer my question 🙏

I’m a big follower of Gita Press books and regularly read them. However, since I serve in a paramilitary force, frequent transfers make it difficult for me to carry physical copies everywhere.
At the same time, poor network connectivity in many locations makes reading online eBooks unreliable. Because of this, I was wondering if there’s any tech-savvy person here who knows whether it’s possible to extract or access eBooks from this app for offline reading.
