Why do many turkish people neglect or refuse to accept that turkish and arabic are close to each others for example:
Many words are the same in both laguages.
For centuries turkish shared the same arabic letters.
Is it because of the bad reputation of arabs as a third world countries and terrorism often linked with them by media.
Or is it that turkish people are trying to get closer to the west by rejecting the part of there heritage related to the east ?
