Delayed delivery of Construction Project
I started an Installment plan of a commercial shop in an under construction project that was already stagnant for years but Zameen.com had relaunched. I booked it through Zameen but all payments were made in favour of the builder. The plan originally ended in Dec 2024 with a final payment of 7 lacs but we were on schedule and project was still long way from completion so builder himself suggested to break the last amount. We completed that on time as well and completed our entire payment in June 2025 as per schedule. Since then builder is delaying and saying other people do not pay on time so project is delayed. It has already been 1 year since complete payment and still they are saying 6 months more till possession. It has caused a lot of financial distress as I planned to sell it as soon as I had possession. Is th anything we can do?
