Building an alternative to messy spreadsheets for Team and Championship Management. What features am

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago I shared my project, RaceJoin, and the feedback here was huge. One thing that kept coming up was: 'The driver dashboard is a very powerful tool, but would be cool also a tool to manage my team's lineups and race calendars'

I'm back at my desk and I just pushed a Team & Crew and Championship management feature to the live site. I tried to keep it simple: you can create a Team or a Championship, organize your drivers into squads, and have a shared roadmap/calendar for everyone to see.

I’m a solo dev and I don’t want to overcomplicate things, so I'm looking for your honest (and brutal) feedback:

- For Team Managers: What is the most annoying part of managing a sim-racing team lineup?
- For League Admins: What feature is a 'must-have' when you're setting up a new season calendar?
- Privacy: Would you prefer a 'Public' team profile for fans to see, or something private just for members?

Thanks for the support during these weeks, we just hit 500 pilots and it's honestly all thanks to the advice I got here!

Hi guys,

I’m a solo dev and a sim-racer, and honestly? I was just done.

I was done with trying to find a teammate for an endurance race by scrolling through hundreds of Discord messages.

So, instead of just complaining, I decided to build RaceJoin.

It’s a passion project. No ads, no corporate BS, 100% free. I just wanted a clean place where:

  • Organizers can ditch the spreadsheets and manage championships and calendars in a way that actually makes sense on a screen.
  • Drivers can have a "Pilot Card" that shows their hardware and availability, so team managers can actually find them.
  • Teams can fill a seat for a 24h race without losing their minds.

The site just hit 330 users and I’ve just released the Championship Management in Beta because I want to make life easier for the guys who keep this hobby alive.

If you want to check it out, just search for RaceJoin on Google. I’m not here to sell you anything, I just want to know if this actually helps you. Tell me what’s missing or what’s broken, and I’ll try to fix it.

Thank you everyone

Hi everyone!

As a sim-racer, I was tired of scrolling through endless Discord servers or dead forum threads just to find a teammate for an endurance race or a new driver for my team. So, I decided to build something better.

It’s called RaceJoin, and in just a few weeks, we’ve grown to over 270 sim-racers.

What makes it different?

  • Clean Profiles: No clutter. Just your simulators, your hardware, and your availability;
  • Live Hub: Post a recruitment announcement and get noticed instantly;
  • Rank System: Select experience level directly from profile settings;
  • Fair Play System: A community-driven way to vouch for clean drivers;
  • It’s 100% Free: Built by a racer, for the racers. No ads, no BS.

Whether you are looking for a professional team or just a buddy to share a seat for a 24h race, give it a look.

Check it out: Search for RaceJoin on Google or head over to the site!

I’m constantly working to improve it, so I’d love to hear your feedback or feature requests
