Bob Dylan Is 100% On The Same Tier As Paul McCartney

I just came across a post on the Paul McCartney subreddit and they were gushing about Paul’s send off performance on Stephen Colbert and how nobody alive is on his level in terms of fame, recognition, accolades etc and i respectfully disagree. People in the comments rightfully pointed out Bob Dylan is and some people in the comments tried to dispute it saying Bob isn’t as famous and even more funnily tried to say his catalog isn’t touching Paul’s. (A LIE!!!) . Bob might not be universally as famous as Paul but he definitely has the recognition, accolades and respect. I was baffled reading the delusional comments, considering Bob is a huge influence on Paul and that entire generation. Is it because Paul is more accessible than Bob? Bob still maintains his mystique which I think helps his legend more.

I have been to 3 of his shows and have never seen a black person at any of them. He may have name recognition but most black people don’t know any of his music. Why is that?
