Guy friend flying internationally for a big milestone of mine, platonic?

Sorry if the title was a bit confusing. My friend and I are close as ever. We go to the same uni and people seem to think we’re dating.

He recently left the country to continue education in the States. Now, he's flying back in for a professional school ceremony I have with my classmates. I hope I don't sound extra but a part of me wonders if this falls under "platonic" behavior.

Asking cause I think I’ve started to develop feelings for him and a part of me wonders how he feels😭 I should also add that almost two years ago, I’d asked him if he liked me. He had hesitated and said “no, we’re just friends”. So I had adjusted my expectations but since then, we’ve still been essentially besties. Please help, thank you! (I can provide more context as needed)

How do I tell a friend I like him?

I've been friends with this guy for roughly two years.
We are two peas in a pod, and thick as thieves. We go to the same uni but he recently left to continue the next phase of school elsewhere.

It's been roughly two weeks. We text everyday all day. He sends me good morning texts. Whenever we call, it goes on till 3am easily (I've been on break the past two weeks). Anyway, all my friends keep saying we should date. Everyone who isn't close to us thinks we're a couple already. We've never kissed or done anything intimate.

He's returning for like a week in a few days. And I'm considering telling him I like him. Also, like a year ago or so, l'd asked him if he liked me. And he hesitated but said, "No. We're just friends". I took it at face value and adjusted my expectations. But I feel like I'm starting to like him again. Since he left, it's been giving long distance relationship. I'm scared to be rejected though l've shot my shot with guys before, but the stakes were a lot lower. In the past, it always went in my favour. He said he didn't like me before (though hesitantly), but I feel like his actions say otherwise?😭 Should I give it up? Is it worth risking the friendship over?

Hey guys, I added a screenshot for reference. But it’s my understanding that in your 4th year (as a UK track student), you have to leave the UK for electives. And you can choose electives in any of these countries. On the site it says electives last 38 weeks and here it says six weeks. Which is it? For those who have done the program, do you spend your entire 4th year in one of these countries (depending on what you choose?). And does the school have a specific hospital for each of these countries? I’m a NON US IMG, hence the UK track program. Thank you.
