Looking for something genuine

Im at a point where I’d rather meet someone with whom I can actually have good conversations, laugh, go out, and build something naturally.

I'm into gaming, football, music and movies I enjoy deep conversations but I’m also perfectly capable of discussing absolutely useless things for 2 hours.

Why ?

I talked to this girl for about 8 months, 7 days a week, basically 24/7. We called each other, sent pics, shared personal stuff, talked about our lives, and became really close.

Eventually, I caught feelings and decided to be honest with her. I told her how I felt, and she completely ghosted me.

I don't understand how someone can go from talking to you every day and sharing so much to suddenly disappearing.

Why do you think she did it? And more importantly, how do I move on from someone who cared about me and was such a big part of my daily life for 8 months?
