Hold content for review always resets to Posts, Links, Polls, and Media on new reddit, grayed out "off" option on Old Reddit

Currently trying to tidy up r/mildyinfuriating , and all posts just gets sent to mod queue for review "Based on your Post and Comment Settings". I tried turning off "hold content for review"/posts /links,media but it just reseted when i reloaded the site so i went to Old Reddit but the option to turn this setting off is just grayed out. The subreddit was unmoderated for a while, so i think this option was just "set" for this subreddit a while ago.

Hold content for review always resets to Posts, Links, Polls, and Media no matter what

I tried to change this setting on a subreddit i moderate, but when i change it and "save" the settings then it just resets after reloading the site. Tried on pc, android phone. Same thing happens.

I am the only moderator, automod and automations empty, what on earth could be causing this???

First playtrough finished, somehow had most of the research tree blocked

Wdym I should have made a lot of shields when I needed to climbed the tree?? I couldn't even craft it.

Automated mining? I could have automated mining???

It was weirdly difficult. Also choosed the miner as one of the first alters. I hope the next playtrough will go better.

New wh6 firmware nerfed the ANC a lot

I am so happy that is installed it, surely Sony won't mess up the ANC a few months after relase like Bose, right? Right?!

i was riding a long distance train today, and got a notification that my headphones got a new firmware update. I have 3 hours, it will install in the background while i am riding the train so why not get it?

halfway trough the ride it finished installing it, the headphones restarted and.... Now i hear everyone talking in the train! hurray! Yes, while using noise cancellation, it didn't switch to ambient mode.

Microsoft Announces Exciting New Windows Features Under Corresponding CVE Numbers

REDMOND, WA -- In a bold move to streamline its communications and bypass the traditional tech press altogether, Microsoft announced Tuesday that all future Windows updates and software features will be unveiled exclusively via their corresponding Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) numbers.

"We realize that our users are busy, and waiting for an annual developer conference just to hear about a cool new feature is outdated," said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, speaking from an encrypted bunker. "By baking our upcoming generative AI tools, cloud integrations, and interface overhauls directly into high-severity security exploits, we ensure that IT administrators see them first --usually at 3:00 AM on a Sunday while their servers are actively melting."

The tech giant kicked off the initiative with the rollout of CVE-2026-8841, a critical remote code execution vulnerability that, when fully exploited by state-sponsored actors, automatically pins an un-removable Microsoft Copilot widget to the user's taskbar.

According to Microsoft's updated patch notes, the new delivery system offers unprecedented integration. For instance, an arbitrary directory traversal flaw in the Windows Kernel (CVE-2026-9012) is actually the hidden delivery mechanism for an exciting new "Smart Scrapbook" feature that automatically backs up a user's unencrypted tax documents directly to a public GitHub repository.

"It’s all about meeting the consumer where they are," Nadella added. "And right now, they are frantically trying to figure out why their entire corporate network is screaming."

At press time, Microsoft developers were reportedly celebrating the successful launch of a major OneDrive storage upgrade, which went live after a buffer overflow vulnerability allowed a teenage hacker in Belarus to copy 40 petabytes of random family vacation photos onto the company's main servers.

How is a pocket veto avoided?

I was just watching S15 All Stars, and I was wondering: how is just saying that you will do the challenge later, then veto when you have an extra 30 downtime, avoided?

I mean, like, train coming in 5 minutes and you can't do the challenge, then you just pocket it and veto it after the train ride. Is there some rule against this?

I know you can't do the challenge while on a train, bus, etc., but I didn't see a rule against using transportation then doing it!

Edit: wrote the winner in private

Congratulations for Distinct_Mix5130 winning it!

Tried Regiojet, it is great and i am too optimistic

Last weekend, I took the RegioJet from Budapest to Vienna. I liked it; it had better rolling stock than the national railway (MÁV), and it was around €4 cheaper.

I originally booked a ticket for my friend too, but he fell ill, so I needed to cancel it. I received the money back in my bank account within two working days.

Anyway, back to the travel experience: it was... mixed.

The journey to Vienna was great. I booked Astra class and could easily order food and drink to my seat. I got free water and could even order free coffee. Their apple pie was great at just €0.50. I even got a metal fork with it! The toilet was also clean and felt bigger than the ones on MÁV rolling stock, but i am not sure on that one.

But the journey back was not as good. The app said it would be 15 minutes late, so I wasn't in a hurry. I walked around the city and explored it for a bit, arriving 15 minutes before the app said it would leave.

It wasn't late though, so I just missed it even though the app said it was. Nice. I suppose that was my mistake, but at least their service is good and the flixbus back was cheap and empty.
