Start of a film camera collection

My father’s friend gifted me his two old soviet film cameras, the 1980 Olympic Zenit E with industar lens & Orion manual focus camera, both seem functional, and I even managed to fix zenit’s stuck shutter button by playing around with rewind knob and shutter speed dial. My goat spotmatic is not lonely anymore! Now all I have left is to get more film to try on these ୧( ⁼̴̶̤̀ω⁼̴̶̤́ )૭

My retro collection

Here’s my larp retro junk collection. I’m using pretty much everything except the ps2 I’ll to play on it, sometime

The oldest thing I have here is Asahi Pentax Spotmatic Camera. I don’t know what year exactly it was produced, but it was somewhere from 1964 to 1976. I didn’t get the official takumar lens yet, but I’m planning to find it later. The chinese 50 mm lens I have now still takes decent pictures and satisfies my beginner needs, I’ve included the pictures in the last slide

The most recent pieces of tech here are Panasonic CF-SX2, Nintendo 3DS and the original Kindle Paperwhite, They all came out between 2011-2012, I was a 6 year old kid back then. Maybe they’re not that retro, but look cute right?

I mainly listen to music on my iPod Video, it’s screen is a bit broken, but I’m planning on doing repairs, and I already changed its hard drive to sd card reader, and now I have 120gbs on it! ୧( ⁼̴̶̤̀ω⁼̴̶̤́ )૭ The blue Nano one was my first experience with ipods, but it has only 8gbs of memory which are not enough for me, and I also broke the hold switch trying to replace the battery :/

Recently I got a Toshiba cassette player, it was released somewhere in 1980s-90s, not much info about this model online, I mainly bought it just to experience analog tape sound, and it’s pretty cool, and noisy… The player’s motor plays tapes a bit faster than it supposed to, creating “nightcore effect”. I’m using sony stereo system to record blank tapes, and it does it’s job well, until now it just sat in the closet for 10+ years

And thats all I wanted to show
