3 weeks into reta, barely feeling effects + heart rate hitting 180 in the gym — normal?

I started reta almost 3 weeks ago and my 4th dose is next Monday. I started through an anti-aging clinic outside the US where they’ve been administering the shots. (0.5mg - 1x weekly)

Honestly, when I started, I wasn’t super informed about it and was kinda scared too (I’m prone to health anxiety). So the doctor started me at 0.5mg.

First dose HIT, next day I could barely eat more than a few handfuls of food, I was like damn this is fast, over the days it decreased. Second dose was the exact opposite: I felt so fatigued and insanely hungry and craving sweets nonstop. Third dose I basically felt nothing, I'm naturally eating cleaner but food noise is still there, I just choose better snacks; greek yogurt, rice cakes etc.

What’s frustrating is I’m paying a premium because of my initial ignorance + how hard it is to get where I live compared to the US. When I asked them about upping the dose this past week since I’m not really feeling much, they told me to finish May at 0.5mg/week, which from what I’ve read it's super low.

What’s concerning me more though: during lifting sessions my heart rate has been getting way higher than normal. Today during legs I hit 180 bpm, which I’ve literally never seen before, and I do feel my resting heart rate increased.

So my question is: should I just up the dose myself regardless?

I’m honestly considering ordering from the US because this “medical supervision” doesn’t feel worth it. I’m paying like 3x what a vial costs B2C just for them to administer it and take zero consideration in what I feel I need.

For context:

  • Started at 181 lbs
  • Currently 178 lbs
  • Lift 4–5x/week
  • Cardio 3x/week because I genuinely enjoy training
  • Diet is pretty dialed in 85% of the time: mostly whole foods, high protein, Ninja Creamis with protein powder, etc.
  • 15% I Still getting random sweet cravings that I feel like I shouldn’t be getting in the first place.

Also found a local supplier, but they only have Janoshik COAs for purity and not endotoxin testing, how safe would this be? Looking for advice from people with actual experience here, especially regarding the heart rate thing regardless of the super low dose, and whether staying at 0.5mg for a full month is normal for starters.

Anyone from latam has been able to ship them from US?

So I’m in Panama and I wanna get a vial from a US website, what we use here is a freight forwarding service.
Does anyone from latam that’s familiar with getting US Packages in their countries, have tried? And if so? Did they get taken by customs or were you successful lol
Note: here, like most places is not illegal nor is it regulated.
