I have been asked to do portal venous Doppler for high GGT and ALT values and this was referred from a tele-consultation appointment overseas. Does it go by any other alternative names in the UK ? As I tried looking in for private clinics that offer this service and I am unable to locate one - probably there might be other names country specific? Please share if you know any . It took like a year to get referred to gynaecologist in the NHS and few months to do investigations for pcos and ttc journey. Just about when I was planned to put on ovulation induction with letrozole , my liver markers were elevated. So they referred me to gastroenterology within the nhs for investigation and asked me to wait until they give a nod to ovulation induction and not plan for a baby yet. When I followed up if I have been booked in for gastro , they informed that I have been taken out of gynae list and can’t seek any help from them and have to go private for ovulation induction. Why the hell this happens ? All that wait for nothing? What kind of neglect to care is this? Someone if they experienced this please explain! I’m literally feeling helpless! TIA !
1.5 years as an analyst in Epic with Clinical background . What advice would you give to understand technical knowledge and improve skills. Is there any non-epic courses that may help as there is no IT background?
