High prolactin

So I’ve had my prolactin tested three times now, the first time it was 24, then it went to 103 in two weeks. After that my ob had me get a brain mri and it was negative but still wants me to see an endo. The first opening is still 2 months away and I’ve already been in this horrible limbo 2 additional months. I asked for another redraw and it’s 93. Anyone have any answers? I’ve no symptoms at all, my cycles are regular and predictable, I get positives on my ovulation strips, I had the blood test to see if I have an abnormal amount of eggs and it’s normal meaning I should be dropping one monthly. I’m just really devastated about this and it’s eating me up. My thyroid is also normal but slightly higher than ob wanted so I’m also on levothyroxine. I started taking the vital supplement after the second blood draw to help naturally lower my prolactin but it’s barely budged. Sorry for the rant I’m just so lost right now

Should I keep trying or start again from next cycle?

It has been draining to keep doing these tests and getting consistently low results. It was my first time trying these LH strips.
My cycle length has been 26-28 days with regular cycles of 2-3 days.

LOW Beta hCG

Hi,
I got low beta hCG (39) on CD32/ 16 DPO and then repeated on CD 34 and got it at 108. Is this normal or could turn into viable pregnancy?
My OBGYN said since the numbers are so low don’t get hopeful

New to TTC and BBT tracking

Second cycle TTC - however this is my first cycle that I have gotten the FF app and have been using my RingConn for temp tracking everyday. The last few days I have been EXHAUSTED…like dog tired all day, and having weird dreams and nightmares. Could it be related?

FF pregnancy monitor only gives me a 21/100 score so I’m not super hopeful…

Can someone please give an opinion on what this trend looks like to you?

Thankful for all of the tips and opinions as this is veryyyyy new for me ❤️

How does ovulation work if there are multiple dominant follicles or multiple follicles over 18mm? Is this related to my miscarriage?

Long story short - I recently had a miscarriage about 3 weeks ago - I went in for my confirmation ultrasound to make sure everything passed (which it did) and briefly met with my dr. to discuss things. He said there's not a reason to wait to try again if we're ready and that they saw a dominant follicle on the ultrasound.

I've struggled with the retention of pregnancies, but we seem to get pregnant relatively easily - typically within the first 1-2 months of trying. But this was my 4th miscarriage (first 3 are believed to be due to low progesterone that wasn't discovered until after the third, most recent due to a random, rare genetic condition with one live birth in between the first 3 and most recent. They're also now testing me for autoimmune disorders and clotting dysfunction.)

I just got my LH peak today, and we bd last night... but I also just looked at the results of the ultrasound myself out of curiosity...

They noted on my left ovary there was a dominant follicle present - but then down at the bottom noted that there were 3 mature follicles measuring 16mm, 19mm, and 20mm - my dr didnt mention these.

My scan was 2 days ago - so operating under the assumption that they all continued to grow at the 1mm/day rate they supposedly do according to web references.... that would make them 18, 21, and 22 today when I theoretically ovulate (I usually do within just a few hours of the surge)...

I'm seeing conflicting/confusing answers online. Many medical journals say that dominant follicles prevent others from growing past 11mm unless there are multiple dominant... do I have multiple dominant? Does that mean all 3 will ovulate? Does that increase the chance of getting pregnant? Does it mean we could end up with multiples? Or is it more likely only the largest will ovulate and the others will remain behind?

Im terrified of a twin+ pregnancy situation with how hard it is for my body to manage a singleton... I'm confused why that wouldn't have been mentioned by my dr. and I'm trying not to be anxious about the idea that there could be a heightened risk for multiples now.

I guess a lot of my questions are because I see a lot about multiple follicles before trigger shots in medicated cycles and the fact they'll all likely release but not a lot of info about what happens in natural cycles and how LH is different from a medicated cycle.

I'm also curious if having multiple eggs mature is related to the miscarriage and hormones being wacky or if I potentially hyperovulate every month with the statistics of how quickly we've been able to get pregnant 5 times now. We've never really looked into anything earlier than how to help my body with progesterone since things seem to go well up until that point.

Unrelated note - LOVE that they renamed PCOS for my mama friends who have struggled with this. It's so much more than an ovarian issue.... but can we also petition for them to relable the medical term for those of us struggling with recurrent miscarriages - because seeing the term "Habitual Aborter" on my charts kind of sucks.

*additionally - obviously any child/children would be a huge answer to prayer - and im not scared of the possibility of raising multiples... we'd figure things out. But the idea of going through the loss of multiples or dealing with the high risk potentials during pregnancy is terrifying and unfortunately with our history I have a hard time trusting a pregnancy will be successful essentially until I'm holding our little one earthside. With our son I had a hard time bonding and had severe PPD/Anxiety about the idea of losing my newborn even though we'd been told he was perfectly healthy. Pregnancy loss is such a mental block to try to get past.

Ovulating but not getting pregnant

I'm 29 and we have been trying for 2 years now. I discovered I had PCOS after my first gynaec visit 1.5 yr ago. Lost around 9-10 kgs after that because I had bmi on higher side. Tried eating clean for a while and stopped later. I had a polyp around 8 months and I removed it immediately. Tubes checked and they are open. Semen analysis done with no issue.

I have regular cycles 28-30 days.have been doing follicular for 2 months now and I ovulate naturally surely (confirmed on ultrasound). Have been on progesterone and vitamins support as well for last 2 months but no result.Doctor said I have good egg count so nothing to be worried about.

If ovulation is good and progesterone and vits are good, why am I not getting positive?

This cycle starts and Doctor now says it might be uterine receptivity issues and I should go for IVF so that they can track better. On saying no to IVF, she said let's try iui and prescribed me letrozole.

Any advice is appreciated. Please help.

TTC 4th Cycle

Hello everyone. I am 39 years old, and have been trying to conceive since May. I am currently 12 DPO, and had a Clearblue test 11 DPO and today, not with FMU unfortunately, both ended in evaps. I feel frustrated and I am looking for any success stories that might give me some hope. My cycles are super regular, and ovulation tests show smileys. I also did this bloodwork test for hormones, and everything looks normal for my age.

Thank you!

Ovulating with no period

TW miscarriage

Hi everyone. I was on Nexplanon for 1.5 years and recently got it removed in December of 2025. I was tracking ovulation and was getting tired of it until I got a positive pregnancy test on March 20th. This tells me that I’m ovulating, but I didn’t get a chance to bleed because I was pregnant. I then unfortunately miscarried on March 30th, and in April I did no ovulate or bleed. Fast forward to May, I ovulated on May 9th, and am hoping to get pregnant this cycle.

Anyways what I’m wondering is, I had secondary amenorrhea before getting Nexplanon, and I’m wondering what the chances are that my body has been ovulating like normally (besides when on birth control) but with no bleeding?

I am also diagnosed with PCOS, I do not have cystic ovaries though. I know if I’m ovulating and my hormones are functioning normally, it doesn’t matter that I’m not bleeding because I am producing hormones to be able to get pregnant. I am just a little worried for the future if I don’t end up getting pregnant and keep ovulating with no period, is that bad??

Low HCG around 4 weeks

Hi everyone, I just got my first quantitative hCG blood test back and it’s 28. I think I’m around ~4ish weeks based on my last period (April 3), but I know that can be off. I have PCOS and have about 34 days between each period.

I’m repeating my hCG in 48 hours, but I’m really anxious and trying not to spiral while I wait. We had a miscarriage in August and I feel like I genuinely have ptsd.

Has anyone had a starting hCG around this low and gone on to have a normal pregnancy? What were your numbers at first and how did they rise over the next few days?

I know every situation is different, I’m just looking for some real experiences while I wait for my repeat test.

Thank you 🤍

Positive OPK but no BBT spike

Hello! I’m hoping somebody may be able to help me here.

My average cycle length is 26 days. I got a positive OPK on Friday and tested daily from Saturday which lightened each day. Fast forward to today (Tuesday) and the 2nd line is almost non-existent.

I’ve been tracking my BBT and have not seen a surge, despite my positive OPK being 4 days ago. I know ovulation can be up to 36 hours after the positive OPK, but surely that would not explain the lighter OPK tests. This is my 3rd cycle TTC and I’m concerned that this may be a cycle with no ovulation :( any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are there actually reliable ways to track ovulation? not just apps?

I recently stopped using hormonal birth control and I’m trying to understand my cycle better. I’ve used period tracking apps before, but I know they’re not super reliable for actually knowing when you’re ovulating.

I’m not TTC right now, but I do want to be more aware of my cycle and not rely on guessing. For people who track ovulation more seriously, what methods actually work in real life?
