Sperm QT

Has anyone tried (or s/o) Sperm QT? I asked my RE about testing my husband for DNA fragmentation but they recommended this instead. I read up on it and, based on an analysis of the sperm, is supposed to tell you whether the sperm is normal (can conceive naturally or with IUI) or abnormal (IVF is the best option). It sounds good considering that we are in between IUI cycles right now. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with it.

Looking for People Similar to Me

Hello! I just posted about baby aspirin but I was also curious to just see if there were any others like me out there.

My husband and I have been TTC for almost 2 years with not a single positive. I have short luteal phase with spotting that I’m assuming is due to low progesterone (that’s also the assumption my RE is making as they have me on progesterone supplementation). I don’t have a formal diagnosis of endometriosis. I don’t have painful periods. They’re actually short (2-3 days) and really light (I may fill one pad a day). I have really bad gas, constipation, bloating, indigestion, and acid reflux and am currently waiting for an upper scope to rule out a GI disorder but my symptoms tend to be really bad during my luteal phase, especially 2-4 days before my period. I just chalked it up to PMS.

Like mentioned in my aspirin post, my RE is considering that I may have mild endo given some of my symptoms, but my period symptoms seem to be the opposite of typical endo symptoms (especially from what I can find). Has anyone else been diagnosed or struggled with endo and didn’t have the “typical” presentation? I only ask because, like I said, I’m TTC and want to know what you ended up finding out and how you proceeded.

Kory and Dick????

I needed to talk about this and get this out because I don’t know anyone that actually watches the show. I decided to binge the show because I saw a clip and it looked good. The first two seasons were. I just finished the third season and it was meh. We will see about the fourth.

ANYWAYS

In the first season, when Kory and Dick had sex, I thought it was going to dive a little more into a romantic relationship with them but it stayed pretty surface level. I didn’t really care about that at the time, but I got to season three and was confused. In season three, Dick has a vision when he dies and is in the pit, and it shows him and his daughter that I am assuming must be his and Kory’s (the child is obviously part Black).

Well I’m going into season four and there is no relationship development here. When exactly does this take place?! Does a switch flip in season 4? He doesn’t even seem the slightest interested in her existence since they had sex. He has a whole thing going on with Barbara and she doesn’t even get a little jealous? I’m not saying the show needs to revolve around them but I feel like I’m lacking some development here. I will of course keep watching but I feel like they’re going to make a jump here.

Devastated

My period arrived this morning and I don’t know what to say other than I’m devastated and I can’t stop crying. 22 months TTC and nothing to show for it. Each month it just gets harder and harder to handle. I just hate my body for being broken and it’s so unfair. It’s honestly ruining my life because it’s all I can think about and focus on. I wish I was like my friends that didn’t care if they had kids or not, but this is all I ever wanted and I feel like I must’ve done something in a past life to cause this. It honestly feels like I’m being punished. I know I’m just probably being dramatic and over-emotional but I’m just so tired. I don’t even know why I’m surprised. We tried medicated TI this cycle because I couldn’t do IUI and TI has never worked in the past. Idk why I thought it would work now. I’m just over it.
