Update on Malaysian Instant Noodle Crate - Would you prefer fixed free shipping or separate shipping costs for international noodle crates?

So everyone, back to the Malaysian Instant noodles crate again, so i have been thinking about the price and also one thing I’m debating is pricing structure because international shipping from Malaysia is VERY expensive, especially since both of our crates exceed 1kg in weight.

The upside is that customers would receive:

- a large amount of noodles/snacks,
- premium selections,
- and exclusive snacks that are only available in Malaysia.

Option 1:
One fixed all-in price with free shipping included worldwide.
(Easier checkout, but overall crate price would be higher but with no hidden fees or anything though.) EU is still under discussion...

Option 2:
Lower crate price, but shipping is charged separately depending on your country/location.
(More transparent, but shipping could vary a lot depending on each country location.)

Which would you personally prefer as a customer?

Also i want my customers to receive the best crates experience they can get that no other crates company ever does!!!

EDITED : Help me out guys, i need the answers for it and shared it with your friends and family about this!!!

Still thinking about launching this Malaysian instant noodle crate...any thoughts though?

A few months ago I made a post here about the idea of building a Malaysian instant noodle/snack crate internationally, and recently I started researching the idea seriously again and HAVENT GIVING UP YET although been busy with my second year of university....BUT this time i brought my friends to tag along and they agreed!!

After looking deeper into:

-shipping(my first enemy)
-packaging,
-fulfillment,
-FDA laws and regulations for each country(my most hated enemy)
-and Shopify setup,

I’m actually considering opening a Shopify store soon to see whether this is actually going to work or not..But this is still under discussion and research.

Right now these are the two box concepts I’ve been thinking about and it is the same as my last post does few months ago!!

Rasa Malaysia

• 15 Malaysian instant noodles
• 4–5 curated snacks
• A balanced introduction to Malaysia’s noodle culture without being too overwhelming

AND

Rasa Warisan Malaysia

• 20 curated noodle selections
• 6–7 exclusive snacks not included in the Rasa Malaysia box
• More rare flavors, deeper cuts and unexpected finds

I’m still trying to figure out:

whether the amount of noodles/snacks feels enough and whether the concept sounds interesting internationally.

What do you guys honestly think?
Would you personally try something like this?

Malaysian Instant Noodle progress so far - Thinking Back About Starting a Malaysian Instant Noodle Crate a while ago and if it is possible?

A while ago, I had this idea of building a Malaysian instant noodle/snack crate but due to what is happening to the economy with the gas prices going up and the wars...

I even did rough calculations before:

packaging costs
shipping fees
supplier pricing
profit margins

At one point I genuinely thought:
“Wait… this could actually become something that everyone from different country can have a taste of Malaysia authenticity of instant noodles flavours that isnt being sold in everywhere else.."

But after stepping back and thinking about it again recently, I’m questioning whether this kind of business is still realistic in today’s economy

Things that make me doubt it:

-International shipping costs getting crazier
-food export regulations
-competition from Japanese/Korean snack boxes
-customer acquisition costs
-risk of unsold inventory
-whether people would buy more than once.

I don't know whether anyone would be interested on this idea as it did before and almost all the prices for everything skyrocketed and it would be too expensive.

Please let me know about this and what yall think..

A preview of the website I built and that is for boys/girls to gift their loved ones, instead of writing a normal love letter...

I’ve been building this small website recently and I decided to go all in for something this special and especially for my girlfriend and also for everyone that wants to use this website for their loved ones...

I’m currently building an interactive relationship website with:

• fullscreen cinematic sections
• animated transitions
• personalized memories
• music integration
• responsive mobile experience
• custom aesthetic design

The goal was to make it feel emotional and memorable rather than just “a website.”

Still under development and would love to bring all of you along with this journey!!
