Just a silly meme because I've seen a lot of speculation that Papergames/Infold delayed Rafayel's myth and released Caleb's solo first to "test the waters" (emphasis on SPECULATION, my mom doesn't work for Infold 🙃).

Well, according to the diligent revenue tracking posts from u/ASCALAPHOS (ty, those are the highlight of my days 🫶🏽) this seems fitting.

Also, the irony of having to "test the waters" for a literal merman makes me giggle. 😌

I just realized that the update notice doesn't communicate any precise timeframe about server maintenance, or update release. We all just assumed it would coincide with server reset but... it just says "on Jul. 9". Atp, they could very well wait for 10pm Beijing time lmao.

So can those of you still logging in let us know if/when maintenance starts?

Usually, is maintenance supposed to be over before server reset time for big updates (it's how it's done for the EU server)? Because if so it should be ongoing right now and it doesn't seem like it's the case from what I've gleaned on Discord.

It's so shocking and disrespectful that Infold chose to only do a purely technical notice in-game and on the official website about the 6.0 update. That's it. Nothing to address the week-long backlash they've been facing. NOT. A. SINGLE. WORD.

Especially after coming up with this corpo babble about listening and trust???? Be so for real. 💀💀💀 Whatever direction they've decided to go, or even if they're still trying to figure things out, a word of acknowledgement was the BARE MINIMUM.

Even if it was a nothing-burger of a vague post (since they sure know how to do that, don't they?), they should have said something.

Instead, they're now showing us without a shadow of a doubt that they're deliberately ignoring us and evading communication.

I've seen countless posts and conspiracy theories across multiple platforms accusing the mod teams for LaDS of censorship and trying to silence us.

But for what I've seen on this sub and on the official Discord, after the first 1 or 2 days, where they understandably had to adjust to the storm, Valko related and generally critical posts/comments in regards to Infold DO come through, as long as they otherwise respect the general rules. We are able to have actual conversations here and I'm genuinely, pleasantly surprised by this. The messages for deleting posts/comments have actually been updated to be less generic and acknowledge the current situation, and that is way more than Infold's actual CS has done so far.

So I wanted to extend this little thank you to them. They're most likely overworked right now, and who even knows if they're getting paid? (as a general rule modding is a volunteer thing FIY)

So in case it needs to be said, don't dunk on them, none of this is their fault.

According to Sensor Tower, Infold would need to have pretty much ALL of their reviews deleted to even hope to climb back above a 2* rating on the Play Store, in 12 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.

This is wild. They can't even cheat their way around this at this point.

Edit for transparency: it's been pointed out to me that the accuracy of Sensor Tower's data might be questionable. One notable anomaly being that the overall amount of reviews is around 194k regardless of the selected country. PLEASE browse the comment section, there are very good points being made there imo.
