As soon as I see the Segway, I know I’m about to get handed an iPad to sign
Like many others, I didn’t think I needed a NAS and now I’m using it all the time for containers, backup, organizing media etc.
I have a DXP4800 plus with 4x4TB WD Red plus running RAID 5.
I want to upgrade storage and not worry about it for a while. I found some deals on 20TB drives so I have 3x20TB plus a 16TB drive.
I want to swap out my current 4x4 setup to 3x20tb.
My current plan is to backup everything onto this 16TB drive, then basically factory reset with these 3x20 drives and put my data back on.
Are there safer/easier ways to do this upgrade? Would love to learn from others who’ve completely swapped out all their drives for a big upgrade.
