I had this conversation with one of our account manager but they seem to give me so many random answers on how it can be used.

Here are my doubts,

1. How do you define one semantic view, is it based on multiple ideas coming together into a unified view or multiple ideas into multiple views
2. After the change in orchestration, Agent tends to write its own SQL definition for the questions asked, how is it utilising the semantic view in this case?
3. Following up on the second question, how do verified queries work together. I have noticed it recognises the verified query but doesn’t want to use the definition which is correct.
4. Which model is being used for the agent to answer business-related questions?
5. Is it better to bring your own LLM and use cortex analysts ability to write code and let the LLM answer?

Let me know if you have found anything useful or good practice while building these views and agents. I want to understand it better.

Been with company A for 15 months now, out of which 7 months I was begging to get my sponsorship sorted. Company A is a travel business who does premium travel for some expensive clients and corporate businesses. Due to Trump, company has been doing alright rather than great. Data is being heavily invested, because they are moving away from legacy SQL servers to Snowflake. Data science consultant created some good projects to provide value from the data. Still lot to do in Snowflake. They pushed AI agenda for a while and got bad response, they have calmed down a bit because people started leaving. Not a fan of it EITHER! Higher management seems to have issue choosing the right priority, my manager who has joined 5 months ago, has bought some structure into team but he says NO to a lot of things whereas his manager, my team head is a yes lap dog!

Company B which has been around for lot longer (43 years) gave me an offer with no hesitation to sponsorship after my graduate visa ends with salary increase to match the visa threshold. Food company, wider team, work on similar project of legacy system to snowflake, AI might be in horizon but not until data is done right

Now company A has given me a counter offer to pay for it all and pay me higher salary. I am just confused because I complained that my job stability, AI and structure was the issue here and my manager has heard the feedback, made sure that things have structure.

Scared that I will fail my probation in company B and I will not have a job making me to return to the company.

Edit: I have 3 years of experience and in role such as data engineer I want to focus on learning skills.

My companies data science consultant said that learning curve is different with a wider team and would learn more about optimisations than data modeling in the new company.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 1 year and 5 months now. About a month and a half ago, I bought a third person into our relationship who is supposed to be a fwb. Things went well on our first meet and we were excited to play with them. As the days progressed, I started fearing that friend speaks differently with my boyfriend than me, I started checking when both of them are online, I have asked my boyfriend to share screenshots read through the message. I have found no evidence except maybe 3 extra pics which were sent to my boyfriend but not me.

I have spoken to them that I have anxiety over this, since they just came out of the relationship they were very clear that they don’t have any interest on either of us or it is just to be good friends and have fun in occasion. After the conversation I felt really safe about everything.

Now that fear is coming back for some reason, I keep thinking the worst but it’s always not the case. It’s like I keep myself caged on purpose for no reason, the friend is a really nice person and treats us the same. Especially while playing, they were doing more things with me than my boyfriend.

I just want to stop feeling this way.

Hey,

I am being extended for 6 months since my company couldn't sponsor me for the job. My team head was nice enough to get me 6 months so I can get another job and not be unemployed. I have just received the contract extension, one of the consultant suggested I should ask for more money.

I get paid in range between 40-50, I have delivered a lot of good stuff and have another project going live in weeks. I am confused if I should undervalue myself or ask for raise and risk the contract (I am not sure if it will risk it or not)?
