Snowflake or GCP - Crowdsourcing

Crowd sourcing here: All things being equal role wise (managing existing customers) what’s the better move?

GCP FSR - Offer a higher OTE but lower base (40/60 split)
Less RSU's than existing RSU's at current

(Current) Snowflake AE - Higher Base but lower OTE (Traditional 50/50 split)

Always thought Google was the pinnacle but have heard there is general unhappiness in the field now?

Struggling with a decision

Struggling to make a decision-  I received an offer recently from GCP for an FSR position I’m considering. The issue is with their 40/60 OTE split the base is roughly $20K less than my base currently. Although the total OTE is higher that cash flow reduction worries me. They also came in best and final on RSU package that is roughly $80K less than my outstanding unvested RSU’s I currently have.

I’m currently working in data/AI so it is a relatively well positioned place to be in the current landscape but there is the allure of GCP. Is it crazy to even consider given the financial risks?

GCP is a company I’ve tried to work for before but couldn’t get in so it’s very exciting to finally have tbis opportunity and I worry that I will regret not taking it down the line. Always wonder if it might be a better career move long term and it could be a mistake to turn down.

That said there seems to be a lot of negative feedback of late from GCP GTM folks.

GCP right now

How is GCP right now from anyone on the inside? Currently considering an offer for FSR Bay Area L6 - existing customer. Have heard and seen reviews that it is really bad but people I’ve talked to that I know there seem overall happy. Curious if the “everyone hits a min of 75%” line is true or not? If the office is a requirement and if culture is really that bad and outweighs the upside.
