33 [F4M] - #Southern CA #IE

Hi! I’m a 5'9", plus-sized woman in Southern California (the inland empire) looking for a genuine connection with a kind, curious, emotionally mature man.

About me: I’m a mom first, a homeowner, and currently in grad school working toward a career focused on helping people. I love deep conversations, good coffee, international travel, psychology, documentaries, and falling into random internet rabbit holes like it’s a competitive sport!

My brand of nerdiness is mostly intense curiosity. I love hearing people talk about the things they’re passionate about, whether that’s gaming, science, history, a fictional universe, or an oddly specific hobby you’ve been waiting for someone to ask about. Tell me your lore!

I’m affectionate, thoughtful, playful, and mildly sarcastic once I’m comfortable. I value kindness, consistency, self-awareness, and direct communication.

I’m looking for a single, monogamous man who is emotionally available and genuinely interested in building a relationship. Someone gentle but confident, affectionate, communicative, intellectually curious, and capable of both meaningful conversations and ridiculous banter.

I’m not looking for perfection, but I am looking for honesty, effort, emotional maturity, and consistency. Please be open to exchanging recent photos and eventually moving beyond endless Reddit messaging. I do have pictures of myself on my profile if you're curious. I’m open to some distance for the right person, as long as meeting is realistically possible!

Politically, I’m liberal, and compatibility there matters to me. I’m not interested in MAGA, polyamory, or ethical non-monogamy.

If this resonates, send me your age, general location, what you’re looking for, and the nerdiest thing about you.

33 [F4M] - #Southern California- Curvy, Cute, and Curious!

Hi! I’m a plus-sized woman in Southern California looking for a genuine connection with a kind, curious, emotionally mature man.

A little about me: I’m a mom first, a homeowner, and currently in graduate school working toward a career centered on helping people. My life can be busy, but I make time for the people and things that matter to me. I love deep conversations, good coffee, international travel, psychology, documentaries, random internet rabbit holes, and learning way too much about whatever topic has captured my attention that week.

My particular brand of nerdiness is less about fitting into one fandom and more about being intensely curious. I love people who can enthusiastically explain their favorite game, fictional universe, scientific theory, historical event, or oddly specific hobby. Tell me your lore. I genuinely want to hear it!

Personality-wise, I’m affectionate, thoughtful, playful, and a little sarcastic once I’m comfortable. I value kindness, consistency, self-awareness, and people who can communicate directly without playing games. I’m rebuilding and rediscovering parts of myself, so I’m interested in taking things slowly and allowing trust and chemistry to develop naturally.

What I’m looking for:

A single, monogamous man who is emotionally available and genuinely interested in building a relationship. Someone gentle but confident, affectionate, communicative, intellectually curious, and capable of both serious conversations and ridiculous banter. I’m especially drawn to men who have their own interests, friendships, goals, and identity outside of a relationship.

I’m not looking for perfection, but I am looking for effort, honesty, emotional maturity, and consistency. Please be willing to exchange recent photos and eventually move beyond endless Reddit messaging. I’m open to some distance for the right person, provided there is a realistic possibility of meeting.

Politically, I’m liberal, and compatibility in that area matters to me. I’m not interested in MAGA, polyamory, or ethical non-monogamy.

If this resonates, send me a thoughtful introduction with your age, general location, what kind of connection you’re looking for, and the nerdiest thing about you.

How to slow down as a beginner?

I absolutely love working with acrylics! Definitely still an amateur but learning so much with each painting! My issue is that I feel like I have to rush the process because of how quickly my paint is drying on the canvas. I'm feeling like this is a technique problem, rather than a problem with the medium. Does anyone have any resources, tips, advice on how to slow down and draw out the creative process?
