Just like everyone here, I'm a nerd of sorts. I love to read and watch movies- namely cheesy Whodunnits or fantasy/sci-fi. (I enjoy almost anything though) I like to make art! I have been playing with charcoal here of late and it has a darker tone that's a lot of fun. I enjoy video games and have been playing Baldurs Gate when I can. Tabletop games are something I love to play with others. I've been playing dnd with the same group for about 8 years. I enjoy thrift shopping, exploring new towns, (casual) hiking, museums, coffee shops, or just laying around the house spending time with people. I returned to college and have been accepted into the program for Occupational Therapy and I'm really excited I'm going to get to help people.

Just found this subreddit today and figured I'd put up a post because wow, people can't read on dating apps. Looking for the person who's down to be the other half of my cool uncle/aunt duo please!

If I had to try and describe myself I would say I am in many ways a perpetual patron of the arts. I love musical theater (and really all live theater -- ballet, opera, plays etc will also make me rather happy.) But also let me spend the weekends out at craft fairs and markers markets exploring all the actually unique and handmade crafts and trinkets that have been created. Otherwise I'm a big fan of high fantasy (D&D, soulsborne and soulslikes, and other such things) adventures big and small from nice local hike to traveling abroad ( I spent the last four years living in GB!) and recently I've fallen in love with baking and the gym for the dopamine hits they bring me.

I'm looking for a partner who is career motivated and driven but isn't willing to fully sacrifice their life for their role; but does have goals that they are actively working towards. I work in higher education and find a lot of meaningful impact through my role and so I'm known to occasionally give a bit too much when things can get chaotic, but overall I like to think I have a good work/life balance going on. Like most of us I love to laugh, I enjoy visiting critters and at some point would like to have another pet (I grew up with small dogs) and I absolutely have a soft spot for bunnies.

Other important things to know about me: I'm not open to relocation from Boston nor do I expect to ever be and I'm very allergic to cats ( I fear the latter could be a deal breaker for some people!). I'm looking to date people who are 28 - 35 (with a bit of flexibility but not tons if I'm honest!)
