Hello, I got my special runs in the mail today and although I am super happy that I was able to get the horses I wanted I did get the Matte chestnut pinto on the Vermeer mold. I wanted to know if there was specifically a thread for this or if I could just ask here .

Unfortunately, I can’t just purchase one that I like more because I don’t really have the money for that especially after purchasing horses from BreyerFest even though I was well behaved, I did want to see if anyone wanted to trade for another of the surprise horses. The only one that I’m not interested in is the Amber Champagne.

Don’t get me wrong. The pinto is beautiful and I’m fairly positive. I got a pretty darn good copy, and I will take a lot of very close photos for whoever messages me about this however, I just happened to have a lot of chestnut pintos and only two other horses on this mold, which happens to be one of my favorites and with my budget right now I’m not going to be able to get the other two obtainable ones anytime in the near future so I really do kind of want this one on a color that isn’t similar at all to the two that I do have one being the chestnut glossy, and the other a Pinto, so it’s kind of like if those two had a baby it would be this one and I kinda want something a little different whether it be pattern or color.

I do not show model horses so if there’s any minor issues with the horse, I don’t mind. It’s not a big deal. I just would like to have one that I’m particularly interested in although I will be very happy if I’m unable to trade and I keep him it’s not I’m not like sad about it. I still was able to get a horse on what is basically like in my top five molds so that’s really cool and I’m super excited about that.

I hope everybody that went had a fantastic time and I hope that everybody who watched online from home enjoyed themselves and I am glad that people seem to have gotten a lot of the stuff that they wanted. I am extremely jealous of all of you who were able to pick up some really cool horses, but I am also very happy for you because you guys are awesome and I’m not just saying that I am an oddly specifically kind person who genuinely likes other people.

Oh the one other thing is I did get completely shafted by somebody in the hobby. And that is the only other time I’ve done a trade because I never got anything back and the worst part is I was talking to this person about their life and their problems and stuff and trying to help them out and it just hurt a lot so I’m a little sensitive about this, especially since this is the model that I was like really excited about it being on this mold so yeah I really am scared of trading, but I’m willing to put my trust into the community it was not a Reddit trade so yeah I’ve never really had bad experiences on it so awesome yeah also I may just add pictures to this post later. I’m just way too tired. Just opened the box so it also hasn’t been even displayed yet.

So this is my first time ever getting any kind of ticket and I am super excited, but extremely nervous about my special Run horses because there were only four horses that I wanted to from the special runs and two from the limited edition runs because they are horses that I already Conga and I thought that was interesting because I know there are a few popular models that I collect but anyway, so here are my quick questions for online tickets. If someone someone’s already answered these I’m so sorry.

OK number one is the silly question but when should I log on in order to purchase my horses? Does the web site exclusive one that I know anyone can purchase it who has a ticket but does that one go on sale at the same time?
Is there virtual Clarion shopping and is it through the vendor or is it through the company?

My second question is, does anyone have specific suggestions on things to definitely attend as far as like the online viewing experience. To make it easier if you wanna answer in general so that anyone who reads this notes totally cool. My personal thing is I am a customizer. I am very interested in horse genetics horse breeds. I’m interested in liberty so I’m not as super into the higher echelon of horse competition, but I love interesting, traditional kind of more unique things as long as they are not like abusive to the horse. (for instance I’m not a big fan of the dancing horses in. I don’t wanna make any generalizations. I know that it’s some where in a Spanish-speaking country that’s not Spain or I almost said Portugal but they speak Portuguese. That’s silly. I think it’s Latin America, but they hit the horses feet to get them to do the high stepping thing I can’t that’s too much for me. Same thing with big lick ) so things like that I’m not into, but if it’s an interesting cultural thing, I would love to be able to see stuff like that.
And anything you just think is really cool.

When it comes to the SE horses, if you happen to only have access to certain horses, do you suggest purchasing them anyway and then trading them for the ones you want in case somebody wanted one of the ones you got assigned? I don’t really understand how any of this works because it says that the one that I personally signed up for sold out already, which is Oseberg who I probably spelled very incorrectly. I did fill out a preference sheet specifically for that horse and the surprise horse, but I have no idea how that works.

And the last thing was just any other random suggestions that you have just tips tricks don’t miss anything along those lines. I also really love just seeing different breeds I am a huge fan. I’m actually thinking about putting together a super comprehensive guidebook to like every breed on the planet that exist exists because I had a really hard time assigning breeds to my horses (even though I don’t do any shows with them because none of none of my horses are in good enough shape because I drop things like it’s my job but I still wanted them to each have their own breed) and actually that reminds me would you know what I’ll ask after the fest is over because I have an online thing that I think would be really cool to do anyway thank you for your help.

And out of everything have fun no matter what even if you don’t get the pick ups you want even if you don’t get to do every single thing you wanna do just remember that it’s a weekend to enjoy yourself and be around the community of people who amazingly enough I didn’t even know still were into this. I started collecting when I was geez maybe 10 or 11 and stopped. I have like two of my carpet herd and now at 43 and incredibly happy to see that the community is still going strong and there’s still so many people who are into these absolutely fantastic plastic wallet, drainers.

Bands don’t make money through record sales anymore. So shows are very expensive that is just reality. It has nothing to do with a band’s ego or anything along those lines but if you’re doing that much making money is not necessarily I think asking a lot.

I hate to say it but that I don’t wanna say Lars was right but I think he was right. I was alive when lime wire was a huge thing and streaming music was like not cool and I listen to my music on Apple Music and pay $10.99 a month which is basically the price of a CD. I do own all of ghosts albums on CD and I own a few on vinyl, but that is not what makes bands money. So yes shows are expensive. I would like you to look at how many things are done during their shows the stage affects pyrotechnics, the fact that the band members have to get paid like cause they’re touring musicians. They’re not ghost Tobias is ghost as much as I love each individual band member well I have my favorites like everybody does even though I’m 43 years old, which brings up my second point.

I’m gonna insert a quick note really I love all of you in here because I feel like I’m being mean but I’m not I’m just trying to like bring some clarity to things and like some other opinions about certain stuff.

The most popular bands right now are bands that are somewhat anonymous. I know that sounds silly, but look at sleep token. There’s a theory in writing it’s called the pants theory where if you can put yourself in someone’s pants then you are more likely to become engaged in the story that’s why twilight was so popular when people are like. Why does anyone like this Bella has no personality well because they want you to think your Bella. Which to be fair I wouldn’t mind being beautiful in my early 20s for eternity. That sounds great. However. If you are an adult and you are a fan of ghost, please stop calling kids cringe, please. Fandom has to be built in to music. Music now has to be more than just music and I don’t think that that was the case when ghost was originally conceived, it just worked really well, and the reason that it was played up in my opinion this is not any statement that I’m sure of however their success is due to the fact that it’s not just music. It’s also performance art the man’s are performance artist and so are the performing musicians. They each have really distinct personalities and people like them all for different reasons whether it be their talent or their personality and what they bring to the stage.

So when you look at it from that angle, it’s inherently built for people to have the ability to write fanfiction about because everybody’s pretty much an anonymous people are going to do those things I wrote fanfiction in a diary about. I’m gonna admit this, owww, as cringe as kids are now I wrote fanfiction about oasis and blur when I was like 14 years old, but I wrote it on paper in a notebook and I hopefully burned it somewhere because if anyone ever finds it, I will never live it down. It was the most angsty teen BS that has ever existed well maybe for me.

And as people who enjoy music who love music and love certain bands, they are my favorite band. I handed out candy on Halloween night and I happen to be wearing a crucifix and I had like a 45 minute conversation with some 15-year-old at my door about how awesome they are and they asked me if I’d like to sleep token and don’t come down my throat for this, but I happen to really like sleep token as well. I like a lot of different kinds of music from Ray Charles to Stevie Wonder to The Beach Boys to 77 punk, I like everything like there’s I don’t really like most country, which is not uncommon, but there is older country I like. Anyway, this is not about me, but please stop bullying kids like we are here to be an accepting community of people and as a member of the satanic temple, which is an atheistic group please do not come for me again I believe fully that we should allow people to express themselves in the way that they want to and not put them down for it because that’s what you’re doing. You’re shaming them for expressing themselves over something that they’re passionate about during a period of time in which things are unbelievably confusing so please I am begging you stop just don’t be gatekeeping in a community for a band that would probably be really pissed off at you for gatekeeping them or treating teenagers like crap for being a little cringe about them like making pins that say papa is my husband like that that’s OK that’s OK. Trust me that is OK as long as nobody is stalking them. They’re fictional characters like they’re not real people who may be obsessive over Tobias that’s a lot, but like what member of a band hasn’t been obsessed over in the history of bands. So please can we just love these kids and raise them up to be good people and not feel like they are unable to talk about the things that they enjoy around adults because we’re going to make fun of them.? Yeah, let’s raise angry teenagers that’s not like Gen Z has enough issues.

I’ve officially tried to write this like five times and no matter what I do I can’t make it not sound angry because I can’t find my key keyboard right now and I am just doing talk to text so chances are most of you are going to write. TLDR didn’t read this and then leave an opinion which to be fair I’m on Reddit so I won’t be surprised, but I would appreciate if you’re going to leave a comment can you at least read the entirety of this?

And secondly, genuinely from the bottom of my heart and every single piece of my soul that exists if a soul exists I hope then unless you are just an absolutely vile human, that does terrible things to people. I hope that every single one of you is healthy and happy and that if you’re not that you have coping skills like Art that you can do music, you can listen to books you can read and I hope that if you’re not healthy, you have a great support system around you and that you have loved ones, and if you have none of those things, I hope that you at least have hope because I mean right now unfortunately that’s about what I have but I do hope that all of you are well, and if you’re not that you are on your way there.
