Hey there guys! I’m not sure if the title conveys the message properly but I’ll just write down a little summary. This is mainly on behalf of a friend who is conflicted between universities (uc or UoA).

Currently comparing both UC and UOA and I was wondering if anyone had any regrets about going to UC over UOA as there isn’t many posts at all about this side? It would be super helpful to know why you regretted it as well as if it was just stuff to get used too or other things. A main problem is not having people going down with them since loads of us are staying where we live.

Hellooooo ik im quite a frequent poster of this topic in this reddit so im sorry about how much i message asking 😭😭

I am still very set on architecture, and have been setting up a proper plan. However, I have got a slight interest for coding and it’s been kinda going for ages (I did DTEC till this year for physics instead and did small coding projects on the side of the basic HTML and CSS stuff) but I wanna try incorporate it.

I have started looking into the Coding and Logic module after doing some research on the website and seeing it can fall under a Gen Ed course during your actual degree?? I’m wondering if anyone would be able to explain it to me, as I want to try this if I can and I’m probably gonna apply for the Young Scholar Program around CompSci for Semester 2 if I can in time!

Mainly just wondering so I have a bit more broadening of job possibilities, as well as the fact that I do enjoy coding but know how sad the industry is around it stm 😖
